There are wild boar only a few kilometres away - not just up in the hills. We came across a goat leg a number of years ago - nothing else, just the leg

Hollyboll - wild boar stew and sausages are :EasterBun - taste as you would expect - rich and gamey :T

May just have had a nanna nap under Mr Blankie - still not got over this flipping cold :(

    Nature Notes:
Arrived on the path last night just as the goats were starting to cross. A quick whistle from the goatherd and they all stopped on the spot, even before the sheepdog (goatdog? :D) came rounding them up :T.
Nibbled on probably the last of the wild fennel flowers today :).

Money for house purchase has gone to currency co, hopefully in Spanish account tomorrow :T.

So, we might get the house next week or early part of following week - or it could be delayed some months .

We've had a lovely few days, but very busy and all coupled with trying to sort out house purchase! A golf tournie at Mr GG's course saw us up there for two days, really, really enjoyed it. Got speaking to some of the players who were lovely, especially eventual winner, and made some new friends :T. Weather was fabulous as well. Halloween party, Spanish lesson and Mr GG's golf also fitted in and a quick trip to the village last night :T. Finally feel over that rotten cold, though am still a bit bunged up.

A few pics from the golf:

  • Everything crossed for the house not to be delayed more months ... all sounds very 'manana'

Glad cold has left you and that it's been a fun few days - do we get to see pics of what you ended up wearing for the Hallowe'en party?

Very easy to make once I hacked away at dead umbrella :rotfl:. Mr GG had a shop bought mask and cape :naughty:.

  • Efficient as ever GG - you didn't go loo roll route cos rain was forecast, and you had an umbrella about your person in case it came :rotfl:

Fairly limited opportunity for use KC so don't keep it Just-In-Case :rotfl:.
