House purchase completed
.
Safe to say we won't be progressing as quickly as Ed :rotfl:.
Had my 'big plan' with me. We started off walking round the house deciding where to start, then decided it was all too much for us :rotfl:. Spent all day just clearing the front terrace and sweeping downstairs terrace, dead plants removed from pots, a fair few over-brittle pots and saucers disposed of, dead and over-hanging palm fronds removed (very hard work!!!!) and dead plants pulled up. An early casualty was Bruno the stone dalmatian (who was missing most of his spots, i.e. paint). We had planned to keep him but unfortunately (well, fortunately really as he was v naff :rotfl:) he had to be put to sleep in the bin as he had an amputated tail, leg and foot and we thought it kinder to let him go. Happy and Doc remain but will be rehomed via an auction house some time soon - if one had been Grumpy then Mr GG could have kept him
.
Not touched inside yet, no electricity till solicitors sort it out, but we have water and nice neighbour came bearing tea :T.
We are both v tired(not used to working for a living
). According to fitbit I have climbed the equivalent of 42 flights of stairs (bins are either up or down the hill) and Mr GG has a 'man gash' on his arm, about _ long :rotfl:. Sleep soon
.
Back again tomorrow .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
