Missed anything on Jezzer Helen? Obviously HUTH is taped.

I'm hoping that lots of people watch it and that is scares them enough not to do anything stupid and to look for advise. I know far too many people who would go - oh look some money I can access - well I can spend this much this year, only they spend double - and so it goes on.
What were they (politicians that is) thinking - nothing much has actually changed, it is now more advertised, and is a future disaster that they will again blame babyboomers for.0 -
Well, that's 2 hours and a good few million brain cells I'll never get back :rotfl:.
Just been doing financial modelling on retirement income using worst case scenarios and various inflation/growth/interest rates, plus liquidising btl's at various points. To cut a very long story short, as long as I peg it by 100 I'll be ok. After that is anyone's guess. This is based on taking 25% from pension pots at 62, then a 5% annual drawdown (which is higher than the normal 4% used). In reality, I'm likely to withdraw up to the tax free amount asap if I can find somewhere to put it that I'm happy with as I don't trust Osborne et al not to change the rules again
. But didn't know how to factor that in
.
Now to declutter excess hair etc.
Yep thats my plan too0 -
So, the great decluttering/prepare to move continues.
Things I Didn't Know I Probably Have Too Many Of #1
1. 3 unused hair mousses. I get through a can about every 2 years.
2. 6 (:o) After Bite pens.
3. 3 whole packs of lasagne & canneloni.
Not counting shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as I know I have loads of those :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I think its a pen that contains stuff, that takes the itch out of an insect bite
I always find that they sting like mad when you dab it on, but never take the itch out
Best cure I have found is a large G&TMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

The universal cure all - prefer whiskey (americans prefer it with the e seemingly - american spellchecker obviously) personally. Brandy is good for bites too, both internally and externally!0

Thanks for the hints ladies - I will endeavor to always carry some gin or whisky with me :j. Not in the ME though
And not in Dry January either
(though I did have some red wine last night
).
3 items sold to 2 people on ebay so that will be 21 & 22/365. Will also aim to take 12 & 13 out of the car [STRIKE]tomorrow[/STRIKE] this week.
6 items listed on ebay so that's 25 in total on there at present. Another 8 or so to get written up and listed but ran out of steam. 1 watcher on 1 of the new items.
Big day at work tomorrow - my leaving becomes public knowledge . Will seem more real somehow :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Good luck for today Gallygirl. I left a job I had been in about a year ago - very odd when people knew especially as I had to give 3 months notice.
However it was lovely hearing people say kind things, if a bit embarrassing! It did make the move on more 'real' though.

Hope all goes OK.
Enjoy the moment, loads of people will be telling you how amazing you are. Don't let it go to your head
