Alex that would be immoral :eek::eek::eek: (and I might get caught :rotfl:). I need to do it correctly as there are legal implications for the btls if anyone needs an eviction order etc.
Just opened an M&S bank account to get the reg saver at 6% and £100 gift card. That's 40 minutes out of my life I'm never getting back.
Being the son of a slum landlord I had to look up the meaning of immoral ...
The M&S bank account sounds like a really good deal. Besides £100 for 40 minutes work seems worth it to me. *Types M&S bank into google*Ooh yes, something that big, you need to be sure you're legal. I don't think Alex was suggesting otherwise, perhaps thats just you, GG:rotfl:
I know nothing about living abroad and the implications of doing so. Just wondered if it were possible as you have a house over here, not suggesting anything illegal.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
 yeah, its ... tofu. Freeze, marinate and fry ... its easy to get it out of a packet, but as a vegetarian I don't understand why people don't usually just eat soya beans? Colour me confused
Seconded, it was edible but tasteless apart from the marinade and a texture like pannacotta - which I love but only as a dessert with some fruit on it :rotfl:.edinburgher wrote: »?
25% of £100 and 25% of £200 is the same as 25% of £300 - why not merge?
If my understanding is correct, Year 1 - take 25% tax free, leave 75% to grow. I don't actually need it all but lose the 'right' to the remaining % tax free if I don't take it all at once (my understanding anyway). I have to find somewhere for the cash I don't need instant access to, can't use tax free accounts and actually can't open a UK account anyway so need to take the rest out of country.
If I have two pots I have the freedom to access the individual 25%'s at a time suitable to me.
A moot point anyway if I decide I don't trust Mr O and want to withdraw it all. Assuming it is Mr O and not Mr B - but I wouldn't trust him either!

An ebay sale packed up, 28/365, bag of stuff for CS, 29/365 and big item put in bin, 30/365 :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I have also sorted out all my handbags and emptied the ones which will be shipped. Some additions to below:
Things I Didn't Know I Probably Have Too Many Of
1. 3 unused hair mousses. I get through a can about every 2 years.
2. 6 (:o) After Bite pens.
3. 3 whole packs of lasagne & canneloni.
4. Pens. Hundreds.
5. Painkillers. Again hundreds. Including some cocodamol I'll need to ditch if not used as you can't take codeine based painkillers to ME.
6. Packs of tissues. Enough to last a dozen colds.
7. Plinky-plonkers for iRene the iPad. I believe the technical term is stylus but I prefer plinky-plonker.

Take it all, invest it in ME parking spaces like they recommended on C4's 'How to blow at investing your pension'.0 -
Oh, was hoping you'd come up with a cunning wheeze :rotfl:. I've actually brought my folder with the tax status info downstairs to read again - I probably could 'get away with' staying a UK resident until I wanted to swap (when Mr GG makes me go out and get a job
) but I think for the slight gain in tax allowance it is probably more trouble than it's worth, I would maybe have to get a tax advisor to sort it all out which would negate any savings.
:rotfl: I know nothing about tax, I just happen to have a very good accountant.
The best thing you could do is speak to a decent tax advisor, I guarantee they will be able to save you money and will not negate any savings. Worth speaking to any friends / acquaintances in the business.2018 totals:

Anything nice?
Not by your standards, very much of the free biro variety. They work though which is the main thing. I'm wondering at what age you have to be before you put 'dead' pens back in the drawer 'just in case' - I haven't reached it yet

Age regardless, there's never an excuse for that. :rotfl:2018 totals:
