Decluttering continues. 38 items on ebay, 3selling :T. Now moved onto cheese and biscuits. It's going very well :D.

  • It all sounds very exciting. I hope we can do something similar in 2015. We have never had a footloose and fancy free time and we are a bit scared of it..!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Is the plan to stay out there for long or just something different for a couple of years?

As for being careful what you wish for, I spent every summer holiday in my teens wanting nothing more than to get out of the "middle of nowhere". My school friends all seemed to live in places where things actually happened. What I failed to realise they also had no real space of their own.
    2018 totals:

    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

This is a temporary stop on our way to Spain - going the scenic route :D. We're committing for a few years - may do longer or bail out if we hate it.

I believe they have nice pen shops if you fancy a visit :rotfl:.

Been looking at rental properties on line - some nice ones available if we were moving now, seems to be a reasonable stream of new ones coming on board so hopefully will be a few to meet my stringent criteria :D.

    Edit: Cheese decluttering complete _pale_.

...and I thought the role of other MSE posters was to guide the irresponsible away from their financial vices?

The BF and I were discussing goals for 2015 and one of them was an awesome holiday, so can I join the queue of visitors and I'm sure you had a resolution a while back to meet more MSE people in real life :)

Have a fab 2015, which I'm sure you will
