Magazines! Yes, they can go for sale now, can't they - I have loads of SFX magazines I can give another go to, get my 20 free listings for December, or whatever it is.

Erm, I'm glad Mr GG is going to live, poor thing!

1 item sold for £9.99 and quite a few watchers on others :T. £12.16 to savings, the postage can come out of cash in purse :).

    I'm glad it's a "congratulations". :)

I wasn't sure as I remember my wife saying to me a number of years ago "my job could take me all over the world" and I responded that I hoped not as the only time I lived away I was terribly homesick and had no desire to move from the Peak District.

Suppose that's what you get for being a "country boy". :o
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

Well I've always wanted an adventure and to live overseas. Be careful what you wish for :rotfl:.

Wow, I go away for a week, and you decide to retire!:rotfl:

Congratulations on this new stage of your life, it's all very exciting.

Sounds like there's a lot of sorting out going on ahead of the move. It's a great chance to streamline everything.

I'm really looking forward to reading about how everything progresses:j

PS, hope Mr GG is better soon
    Early retired - 18th December 2014

I'm not a hoarder so I have a lot less to sort than most I suspect - but there is still a lot . Including a lot of clothes in various sizes :o. I think the biggest difficulty will be in paring down the 1 cubic metre we can take immediately - we'll be in serviced accomm initially but hopefully in own place before the bulk of our stuff arrives.

Mr GG gone for a nap - I think it was my rendition of 'Bobbing Along' that did it :rotfl:.

Definitely good news Alex, it's an adventure (and at my advanced time of life :rotfl:). Plus no more getting up at 5.45 and 13 hour days :T. Looking forward to being a lady-wot-lunches :D. I mean, looking forward to making Mr GG's life comfortable by attending to his every whim ;).

What wonderful news :T:T no more 5.45 get ups is brilliant, it's the middle of the night!

    Enjoy lunching!!

Oooh the excitement, and the jolly, jolly, jolly brilliant news of imminent "woman of leisure status" it couldn't happen to a more deserving person. I hope this will bring forward your FI, and we can all stay on this board to see it. I also hope My GG is better soon, so good that he has had a lovely restful summer. Forget sorting, bring in a skip and start again when you get back (this may be a jaundiced view since the amalgamation of the contents of my flat into my house has not gone well). I am so pleased that the Universe listened.
