    It's not one of the countries where women aren't allowed to drive their own car, is it? I think not, but I'm just checking :p Actually, what the h*ll, even if it is, what an experience! The nephew who's just become a dad for the first time this year had a year teaching English in Saudi (Scouser Saudi kids _pale__pale__pale_ ) and a distantish cousin was a teacher to a royal family in the region ... absolutely brilliant to pootle about exploring the area and the cultures (and the [STRIKE]booze [/STRIKE] food).
    2023: the year I get to buy a car
