    KC - I'm not sure how effective the black bagging of the leylandii bits will be, this link specifically says they don't work for leaf mould, so maybe it would be better to treat as something that takes longer to compost normally instead.

    Maybe it's just because it's too woody to break down quickly. This link seems to support that:

    :hello::hello::hello:

    I'm not dead, its okay! Sorry for absence - don't know quite what happened there, I was posting on other threads. I think I was so busy trying to not get a cold, and then recovering from the steroid injection I had on Tuesday, I just didn't have anything to focus on in the diary ... :o just looking back at my diary to see what on earth I was doing, and yep, its very bare - its all about huddling (actually stretching out, cos its nice and warm) by a radiator, sometimes balancing the lappie on my knee.

    I *did* send off an amazon book and two ebay parcels, actually, which was good. I had to go to another town (city) to do it, because of the injection, and it was weirdly fascinating to be in a post office at 5pm and see all these twenty somethings with a dozen bright clean jiffybags sending off to friends and rellies. *Thats* whats keeping the economy afloat (sort of! :rotfl:).

    Anyway, back again, and the next few days are crunch time for my accounts - integrating all figures, then inputting.

    Only one Christmas card has been sent, but at least it was to a far-away place :)

    Back later :wave:

    Sadly, no accounts work has been done - I can't make myself sit down to it ... so I gave up, went to the supermarket to stock up (only spent £30, all on staples tho, so it was good) then straight out to collect more leaves to rot down for the soil next year. And its raining now, I timed it well! But what a very unpleasant day - must be *awful* further north ...

    It is bad here in West Wales, Ninja rain as Pippi describes it, cant see out of the windows its that heavy. Dread to think what it must be like in Scotland.

    The wind here is only normal, right in the south - its getting a bit dark (at 14.20!!!) but thats all. I think I might break to watch the tv news and then move downstairs to try to work on the accounts in some clear space.

    Back later! And I hope Moo is okay

    Ninja? I thought ninjas were stealth?

    Nothing stealth in the weather here at the moment...
