No Christmas letter yesterday, tho I did send the French money out there. I had a Harry Potter day! My cold isn't coming out properly, but not getting better either, very frustrating. I'm trying to keep the house fairly tidy, as it feels really horrible when its in a mess, and its not too bad right now. So just taking it easy really.

Ooh, except that ancestry have another free weekend on, until December 7th, "in memory of Pearl Harbour" - wot? Well, it suits me, WWII records are free.

    Hello KC,

keep that cold at bay, tell it you have no time or inclination & it would be better off elsewhere :D

I used to dabble in aromatherapy ... rose geranium was one of my favourites :D. Might resume that next year *heads towards bookcase to dig out recipe books*

    Have a lovely day

Rose geranium! I used to wear a some of that as perfume! Gorgeous.

Am definitely telling the cold to go stuff itself :D - I did the leaf collecting at the front of my house, which took all of 3 minutes, but my feet were cold, even tho its hot in my living room, from lack of exercise (bad circulation, see) so I went a 20 minute walk, that was more than an hour ago and my feet are still toasty :)

Finally wrote the Christmas letter this morning, I've got the one Australian address from my mum - she was so busy she could only stay on the phone ten minutes, which suits me. After the 3 minute leaf success, I'm experimenting with collecting overhanging leylandii twigs or whatever they're called, see if they compost down too, they could be useable for the blueberries, as pine needles are recommended for them. Tidying up too, very slightly. So just a few Christmas letters to be printed out, not many.

Otherwise, Harry Potter is alive and well these days, and I think he and his family live in Grimmauld Place, somewhere in London :D

I never had much luck composting down leylandii bits and pieces.

Hope you are soon feeling 100% :)

They burn exceedingly well. The ash may be more fertile...

Its only little bits, Z, the neighbour gave it a really good cut back last year, just after I moved in, bless them. I'm not sticking them in the ordinary compost bin, btw, I'm shoving them in a black plastic sack as per leaf mould.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I feel your pain! Twice a week, actually, I've taken to just lobbing her off the phone after 35 minutes - this one was so short because my brother was due to arrive with his puppy :D
