I do need to hop over to the next town, and buy a bit of pesto, I'm completely out  but it'll just be a bit, because its Waitrose :rotfl:
Out of pesto???? What is this world coming to!!!!

Aw, thanks both - yes, I got some pesto, my word - carrot top? Next year, I'm definitely going to set aside some ground for basil plants outside - I'll get one of those supermarket plants that has a million stalks, and pot them up, then put them out. A little basil forest! In the meantime, I got to listen to the local choir singing in the local mall, they were really enthusiastic, it was nice, even though I'm not a Christian.
As for being busy, hmmm, Taxi, not really - I did do the cards, admittedly, and I spent an hour at the shops, and then another 15 minutes hefting the wheelbarrow to some local houses. Actually, put like that, its not too bad at all! But when I got back to the house properly, I didn't do anything at all apart from write drafts for a couple of blog posts, which I really enjoy doing. Well, actually, thats not too bad either, is it, I guess - we can't work all the time. Thats been my mistake in the past, possibly! Oh dear, if MrB ever ventures off his diary, he'll see exactly the same issues as he's going throughand I try to sound so wise on his thread :rotfl:
Anyway, today, I may do some more Christmas cards. There are presents I can wrap, but only if there's a film on that I want to watch. Oh, I have a dvd to watch - my birthday is next week, and my mum sent me a dvd of Shaun the Sheep:rotfl::o:rotfl::o:rotfl:

Yes, I have had fun, thanks - I've been roaming the interweb, come across a great website/blog via Firewalker's blog, called Sustainable Personal Finance, its really good. As is Firewalker's, I've really let myself get behind on hers.

Oh KC I just watched strictly on iplayer for the first time this series........ it was good. Dont know how I missed it. Jason Donavans Tango was hot and Harry Judd is so cute (I know I am just too old but hey....) Love a man who can dance so how have I ended up with noneSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

I'm amazed at it, I really am - I know its been on for years, but I've never watched it before, only seen a single programme every now and then when my mum has it on and I'm staying there.
Harry is *very* cute, but *much* too young for me - I used to feel slightly weird in my adoration of Michael Shanks, but he's turning 41 this month, so not cradle-snatching any more2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Today, I'm mostly out of the house, work stuff to do, I can't really concentrate on that, the moon is still up, and its slowly descending right outside my office window, just approaching the tops of the trees. Its really spectacular.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
