Almost full, definitely.
I was up at a ridiculous time today, actually went back to bed with a cuppa tea, and went through some local magazines for helpful/green stuff. Sorted out which Christmas cards I still have to send. Just pootling around now I'm eating brekkie, but will get back to work for 8.30...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Just checked my lunar cycles calendar - full moon was the Saturday 10th - Isn't it amazing that the moon is still out at 7:30 in the morning? I keep wondering why I'm commuting & not in bed if it's still night!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! It is odd, isn't it! Of course, the moon being up isn't the same as it being night, but we *think* of it that way
I finished work at 4, couldn't bear to stay in, so I went off to the town centre and bought the stocking filler pressies I needed. No cream of tartar in the whole place, tho, to make the bere bannocks that Pippi has the recipe for.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Mmmm bere bannocks sound interesting, must raid Pippis recipe bookSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Does cream of tartar still exist??? I remember it in my Gran's larder - not sure what she used it for but it was always in her stores!
On a different note - did you see the meteor showers?

Cream of tartar (I wrote Dream of tartar at first :rotfl:) still exists, but only just - nothing in the Coop or Boots, Sainsbo is my only hope within walking distance now ...
The bannocks really are incredibly simple to make, especially when you're used to making them and they become part of your routine, I'm looking forward to that day - means I can have a quick, easy use of all the flours I've accumulated - Dove's g/f, gram, bere, buckwheat, rice (don't want to use too much rice, its in my g/f pasta anyway), all sorts.
I *did* see the whole thing about the meteor shower, RT! I kept peering out of the window to see if there was any break in the clouds, but nothing - no point going out there like this. You're making me think of the first winter I retire - I'll be down somewhere sunny at this time of year, I think, even southern Spain would be good - I bet there's a better chance of seeing them there :T
Today, so far, I feel like I've got my mojo back, even without enough sleep :j The to-do list for the week is written in my diary, and we'll see how it goes. Today, I'd definitely like to finish the Christmas cards, go to Sainsbo (to buy that cream of tartar, amongst other things!), and do accountingy type things. Oh, and renew library books. Again
