Back on here again after a late lunch - thanks folks its a follow up appointment, Gill, at the first one she gave me a couple of steroid injections. We'll see. Just puttering now - I need to rest, but I don't want to lie down, I'll probably go for a little walk ... not even any blackberrying!

And, erm, I went blackberrying - not properly, just sauntering about with a plastic bag in my hand met lots of happy dogs. And sheep. I pootled about a bit further than usual, past my little village duckpond, and got out into honest to goodness countryside! There's a bit less than there was, as they're building a little estate of houses there, but it was *really* old footpaths, sunken paths between high hedges, wonderful stuff. And I'm doing absolutely nothing except cooking food and eating.

"Proper" is when I'm prepared with the answers to those sorts of questions. Tonight, I was just dozying about, looking at the flowers, muttering about medieval pathways
