  • Glad the appointment went, well, um OK and you've got a referal to the specialist with no name, maybe he's you know who?

Yay to kirsty and phil, ate my tea watching them, not like a stalker you understand, actually on the telly.

    :)

Actually, she's very goodlooking, I consider that a huge compliment

And it *is* something like that, tho not with camo paint *there* :D:D:D

How far do I want to lean?
Is a spider crawling up the inside of my jeans?
Will that wasp go for me?
Have I just picked an insect off that leaf?
Is there a maggot in that one?
How many times have I stabbed myself with blackberry thorns tonight?
Did that dog !!!! its leg high enough to widdle on this blackberry?

"Proper" is when I'm prepared with the answers to those sorts of questions. Tonight, I was just dozying about, looking at the flowers, muttering about medieval pathways :)

I go with the bliss theory.
    Or alternatively
No, but the Great Dane or Irish Wolfhound that went by just before definitely did! Hey, Moo "says stop casting nasturtiums"............. he is very careful not to spoil the blackberries given the fact that his human has explained tha, should he opt to toilet in the wrong place then he is without his jam on toast.

Far too many things to think about with this foraging malarkey.
    Just dont think!

Sorry - just back from a couple of days away and speed reading. Only got this far but picked up that your appointment left you feeling YUK. Dont feel like that, you have a right to ask questions and give feedback. If she cant take it then she has the problem not you. Will catch up more tomorrow.

You're right, you're right, Cheri - I know that really, it was just a bit hard to take, thats all.

Today, I've just got the one big session, a few emails and whatnot as usual, my list, fortunately, is still about cleaning the living room rug, tho this is supposed to be clearing stains. I'm sure I can do that today. Otherwise, pottering about clearing and tidying - oh, and I just spent half an hour in the stairwell, trying to hoover up a spider that had descended from the loft, so I could put him/it outside! Succeeded :j

Hello! Cheri is right - she should be giving you all the information, so has no right to be upset/ offended if you ask for it. Anyway, as long as she's doing her best to help you, she doesn't actually have to like you - and I'm sure she'll have met people who she likes much less! Obviously it makes appointments more pleasant if you get on with each other, but she's supposed to be the professional in this relationship..... anyway, good news that you have referral to mystery surgeon and more idea what's going on.

Nice bit of shopping there too ;)

I know, I know .... but I'm convinced that subconsciously they try harder for people they like. I saw the letter she wrote about me when my mum gave me the money to go private with her. She referred to me then as a "pleasant woman" - like, whats that got to do with the price of fish? I'm convinced it makes them try harder.

Never mind - I don't have anything else to do with her, its the mystery surgeon next. And for me - a cuppa tea and my vitamin pills.

Thanks turfy - no, I'm good now, its no problem. I did go a bit absent minded yesterday, but even then it was just a bit of cake, a bit of tv and a bit of scanning - hardly the stuff of great despair :rotfl:

pleasant woman indeed :rotfl: :rotfl: what a bizarre thing to write in a referral letter! What if you were grumpy - would your medical care be worse?! <best buck ideas up!> As for mystery specialist - hope *they* know what they're doing at least! :rotfl: I had a letter yesterday about my thyroid surgey and apparently my consultant is 'Mr Surgical' :rotfl: :rotfl: I'm hoping he's been destined for this all his life :D
