No, but the Great Dane or Irish Wolfhound that went by just before definitely did!

Far too many things to think about with this foraging malarkey.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Excellent!

Well, today I may condescend to follow my jobs list and vacuum the living room rug, but thats about it :D I have my routine rheumatology appointment, and I'm going with a list of questions spaced so I can write down the answers and actually be pro-active.

Then I'll pop into town and do some stuff - check bargains at Iceland, buy a 2nd kettle - my mum needs to get up in the night sometimes, and she can't use my stairs on her own in the middle of the night, so I'm clearing my desk and putting a kettle up here, with milk in a vacuum flask, packet of biccies etc, its no fun being wakeful and bored and *needing* a cuppa tea when you can't have one. So I'll make sure she can.

Anything else I do has to be very lightweight, my shoulder is still hurting me - scanning is the only thing I can do, probably. I may even do a yougov survey!

We met our next door neighbours the other evening - we were going out and they were coming in - and they had make up on like Z's picture! Turned out they'd not been blackberrying but had been out to Laser Quest for a friend's birthday :rotfl:

Hope today goes well, especially your appointment x

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Excellent! I think some form of laser/paintball shootout needs to go on my bucket list, actually :D

Thanks for the good vibes - I'll let you know how I get on.

We went to one (also for a friend's birthday) a couple of years ago - lots of fun but very tiring - we didn't last very long in the pub afterwards (and were very sweaty!) :rotfl:

    Good luck with your appointment.

We went on one of those laser things on a team building day with work. Anything less team building would be hard to find! Mainly because someone (ermm that would be me) isn't in the slightest bit competitive and couldn't have cared less about points etc. and just wanted to have fun.

Thanks folks! Its nice to read stuff when I get back :)

Paintball and laser - in real life, I'm all touchy-feely therapy type person - but I love being competitive over things that don't matter, like paintball, or Monopoly or suchlike :)

The appointment .... hmmm, well it went well in that I made notes, and I now have an idea of what I can do for me. But I think I startled her :o so what she heard was that I thought she hadn't done anything for me - and she did, she ordered a scan, an X ray, blood tests. She just didn't talk to me about what it meant, or, most importantly, what I could do to help myself. Thats the bit that was getting to me, that I didn't know about that level.

Not much the wiser, though some - pain relief, for instance, and its side effects, which is just as important. I was expecting her to just give me another steroid injection for my neck/shoulder, but she thinks its more serious than that, and she's given me a referral for an m.r.i., to check the tendons, plus a shoulder expert surgeon, (whatever that specialty's called :rotfl:), plus another blood test.

I've completely offended her, of course, sigh .... but it doesn't matter even in the medium term, as she's discharged me to this other specialist whose specialty doesn't have a name.

So I felt rotten, of course, and mooched about the shops - bought the kettle, not even the cheapest (tho cheaper than anything in Sainsbo) - £20 for a really lovely design from Robert Dyas, of all people. Half price Quorn in Iceland. And the local haberdashery shop closes all Wednesday - **what** century are they in? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - so it was off to M&S for gluten free bread and cake :D after which I watched some Phil and Kirstie to make up for it all.

And here I am! The w/m is on, but I really doubt I'll do anything at all on the list today... and you know what, I don't care!

Another cup of tea while I look at the diaries.
