  • Don't feel guilty at all. Everybody has different ways to deal with appointments and information overload.

The main fact is that you are getting a series of tests that combined together will show the arthiritus hotspots, the level of inflamation etc in your blood and more specialists to look at you in case different treatment is needed in combination with your arthiritus treatment.

So I would actually say that all in all it was a successful appointment :p.

Hiya! Well, in truth I think you're right, for me and my arthritic bones :o for the relationship it was fairly, um, disastrous, but since she's discharged me, it doesn't matter  and anyway, when I got back, I had lots of protein, and lots of chocolate cake (gluten free!) so I even more don't care ;)

Ha, is all I can say! Ha! I will work until my retirement date, which is now in the foreseeable future, and then I will scuttle off and overwinter here and there each year, and have a fine old time; and I will also have a fine old time here, before my retirement, and zoom about *this* country, having a bit of fun and living the high life in my own way :)

Oh, I just remembered - I lost weight since the last time - I weigh 3lbs less even with my trainers on, so I reckon I've lost 5lbs. That takes me within the weight range that I said would be ideal when I was in my early 30s, so the weight is really good now, tho I would *truly* like to tone up a bit more. Might investigate the swimming class for ancient people at the local pool.

Blood pressure - I just looked on a chart made out by the Blood Pressure Association (I didn't know there was such a thing) and I'm in their ideal range :j

Just been talking to DH about exercising to get energy levels up, you really don't want to hear his suggestions :o.

We went to one (also for a friend's birthday) a couple of years ago - lots of fun but very tiring - we didn't last very long in the pub afterwards

Was this because you were chucked out for shooting at the fruit machine?

There's such a thing for everything. You guess at what a government is going to be hammering on about, make an organisation, and if you've guessed right - wait for the government grants to come flooding in...

Just people taking a punt on getting public money for not working for a living.

Seems to be the bonfire of the grants, and many "charities" are bleating about it.
