I did around 21 days out of 30 last year (days missed were either due to other excercise or prior commitments - I really loved it and felt the benefit even if it hurts.
I currently did 6 days level one before xmas and now after new year I have done 2 days level 1, and 4 days level 2.
I go skiing on Sunday so trying to increase my overall fitness especially strength as I have a knee injury so want my legs to be stronger to help me keep skiing!
Jillian rocks and its a short workout so even better.0 -
Is this thread still alive? I did day 1 last week, but hurt so much the next day that I avoided it for a week
So day 1 (take 2) yesterday, day 2 today... got my OH joining me tooYou were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -
Has anybody done this, or is anyone doing it now? Just wondering if its worth it?0

I've just started doing it again, I did it nearly a year ago and have since fallen into bad habits. It made a real difference last time and I didn't even quite finish it then. My wedding is in 3 1/2 months so thought I'd start again yesterday, so am on day 2 at the mo. It's hard at the beginning, but you notice a difference really quickly. If you want to see some fat results and then keep it off qith healthy eating then this is a great dvd.0

Thanks, I've ordered it online so it should arrive soon. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just one of those things where you lose a couple of lbs and the weight goes back on as soon as you stop doing it.0

I need to lose a few inches to fit into my dress but am finding it a little difficult so think I will order it and give it a try too
Luckily I have 14 months to go but would like to lose it and keep it off sooner rather than it gettign close to the date an panicing.

Anyone out there doing the shred at the moment? I'm on day 18 and so proud of myself, I've had 2 days off once due to laziness and overwhelming desire to get rip roaringly drunk, and once cause I did something funny to my arm muscles on the previous night. I'm not seeing any real weight loss, only lost 2lbs but I'm feeling better, tighter and stronger. I could barely do it the first day of levels 1 and 2 but with every day that passes it get's easier and easier. Still not looking forward to level 3 though!0

What is "The shred" please?
Well done on doing 18days of whatever it is lovewealthhappiness! I hate it when people say "only" 2lbs or "only" half a lb. Each pound is an achievement!
I looked up what 1lb of fat looks like for a picture for you...You have lost two of these! Congratulations!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Hello I am not doing the shred as I don't know what it is but I do have the insanity DVDs which are awesome. On day 14 and I am feeling the difference.. but I don't always have the motivation to do it..
Does anyone know if there's a pre wedding fitness/losing weight thread where we can motivate each other / keep track of results? xxCC1 £7,944.10

Theres a wedding diet thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3192116
I'm sure it is difficult to keep up the motivation to do fitness dvds every day. I guess you just need to do your best and be proud of yourself when you do manage to do it and not beat yourself up when you don't!GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125
