Ok so I've just done my measurements for week two after one week of the shred and walking at least 1 hour every day with a single or double buggy. Not much change tbh which is a little bit disappointing but I do feel far more energetic and healthy so I think this week I might just have to up the anti a little bit and throw in a few more exercise dvds too, plus I'm gonna start to count calories on www.foodfocus.co.uk.
Weight: 8 stone [-1lb]
Bust:33.5" [-0.5"]
Waist: 28" - no change
Hips: 33.5" [- 0.5"]
Bum: 35" - no change
Thigh: 20" [- 0.5"]
Arm: 10.5"
BMI: 20.5 [-.03]
So all in all 1lb and 1.5" lost which is better than nothing. Let's hope for more next week. Hope everyone else is pleased with their changes.0 -
Ok here is my mortifiying stats (as of yesterday 07.01.11)
Weight 12st 10lb (put 4.5lb on over Christmas)
Bust - 41.5"
Belly button - 41"
Arm - 12.5"
Waist - 36.5"
Hips - 42"
L thigh - 23"

Well just measured myself again. Should have been day 8 for me but missed couple of days so its day 6. I am pleased with the results so far. Can't see any difference but maybe that's because I study myself in the mirror trying to see them? But the tape measure says different. This weeks measurements are:
Waist (narrowest part). 34". One inch loss.
Belly button. 39". One inch loss.
Below belly button. 40". One inch loss
Hips. 42.75". 1/4 inch loss
Right thigh. 23.5". No change.
I couldn't believe it. I have remeasured 5 times and still can't get over it.0 -

Should have said, I'm not doing shred, I'm doing Zumba at the minute and following a low fat diet. I've ordered a shred dvd and waiting for it to arrive in the post!

OMG - that is AMAZING!!!! I am sooooo impressed!
I have done my measurements, but not re-measuring until 4 weeks have passed. I get a bit obsessiveso have to set myself rules! I can only hope I do as well.....:A

Thanks Vixi, I'm on a massive high at the minute. I've been using myfitnesspal.com to monitor my calorie consumption and it really helps to know how many I have left in a day so I know what I can and cant eat!

Ok here's my new measurements...it's actually 9 days as I first did it on the 1st, but Monday mornings is more easy to do consistently.
Weight - this is has been awkward since my new scales seem to weigh me quite differently to the old ones but last Monday my new scales had me at 11st 0lb 4oz, today I'm 10st, 13lb 0oz so 1lb weight loss
waist (narrowest bit): 77.5cm/30.5" - loss 1.5"
tummy about an inch below belly button: 90cm/35.5" loss 1.5"
biggest bit round bum: 103cm/40.5" loss 1"
top of thighs, below bum 'overhang': 100.5cm/39.5" loss 0.5"
widest part of right thigh: 62cm/24.5" only loss 1cm, just under 0.5"
I havent done shred - I've done one pilates and one zumba class, hula hooped at least 10 mins each day and been using my lateral thigh trainer (like a mini stepper machine that twists as you step). And generally tried to eat better, no snacking on bars of chocolate etc. Am pretty pleased as I certainly didn't starve myself and even pigged on cupcakes when out shopping with BM on Saturday, then finished that day in pizza hut and had wicked dessert!0 -
ok end of week 1 for me, have managed the dvd 4 times (just due t time and motivation!) had healthy eating but a 'normal' weekend of chippy and some lager...
waist (narrowest bit): 32" same
around belly button: 37" same
hips: 40.5" same
right thigh: 27” (26, -1)
right arm: 14” (12, -2)
bum:43” (42, -1)
Total inch loss of 4 inches.
BMI = 28.53!!!!!!!!!! now 28.2
