Quick plea - did anyone buy The Sun yesterday? I wanted to get the voucher for free registration at Weightwatchers but we had the Weather Of The Apocalypse yesterday and I couldn't face leaving the office to battle my way to get a paper
I ended up having two friends staying over - the bridge out of Edinburgh was closed, most train services were suspended. We ended up having a lovely time with lots of food and wine; I'm only just beginning to feel human this morning!
My only spend yesterday was on a cup of tea at work, mainly because I was having a long day and caffeine was necessary. I'm going to have to purchase a cafetiere this week as I broke mine yesterday morning (BAH!) and prefer to have posh coffee in the morning before I face the day.
Still no bids on my Ebay items, but I'm hopeful...
I can get you one, have sent you a PM too!

Thanks Palema
I've PMd you back too!
Some of my Ebay items have bids :j I'm up to £18.37 which is fabulous and is ridding the house of clutter I don't need. I'm planning on keeping the money I make in my Paypal account and using it for treats for me. If you can spend without guilt that's always the best way!
I spent a couple of pounds yesterday in Morrisons on essential food - and on popcorn to sneak into the cinema. I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 4 with my friend and it was actually a lot better than I'd been expecting. A lovely night had by all.
Better run now - aiming to be in work for 8am but as the cats are still wandering outside and I haven't had a shower yet I think I might be being ambitious... :rotfl:

Morning all
I can't seem to get myself going this morning, and breaking my beloved cafetiere on Monday means I'm on normal instant coffee until I get around to finding a new one. Bah and double bah.
Still, it's not all doom and gloom in the Land of Fresian...
I've been working hard this week and have managed to do two and a half hours of overtime in two days, and will be doing another hour today. All my overtime is paid at time and a half, so this is a nice little earner. I'm also due to work for a few hours at double time on the coming bank holiday, so woo to that too! Looks like I'll have a nice wage at the end of June.
My collection of Swagbucks is growing nicely. I'm sitting with around 730, and need 849 to redeem for an Amazon voucher, so I'm nearly there once again. Once you get into the habit of doing the little things every day on it such as the daily polls, it's not hard to earn the points.
In other good news, I got an email last night saying that the other £75 I'm due from NPower via Quidco has tracked :j I was due £150 in total, £75 quite soon after joining and the rest after six months. I had forgotten all about it to be honest, and have been very pleased with them as a supplier (remember, I'm now paying half of what I was with Scottish Power!) so this is an excellent bonus. It's not due to pay out yet, but I'm happy with it nonetheless, as it will be nice when it arrives.
I spent a very relaxed couple of hours last night making some cards. I'm now building stock with a view to selling more than I am at the moment. Someone I know from PAD contacted me on FB to make her a card, which has made me think that I might be better than I'm giving myself credit forI'm going to upload the ones I have "spare" to my own FB first, and might set up another one for selling them to general folk.....still need to keep on trucking with making them though, so I might be offline a bit more than usual for the next few days while I formulate plans!
Ebay items are still static at over £18, but eight of the 18 items have watchers, which should bode well.
Right, off to the shower then work. Thinkoftheovertimethinkoftheovertime....

Really? I've been on there for a little while (maybe not for a while though) and I've barely got any points and can't work out where I'm going wrong. Do you just do the daily polls etc? I use the search engine but have got nowhere with that. Not lucky enough I guess0 -
Oh and I've been taking a peek on your blog, your cards are looking as brilliant as ever! You'd be able to sell lots I'm sure!!0

I'm online using my phone just now, so can't write a huge reply, but will post more info later on. I'm getting an average of one five pound amazon voucher per month at the moment.0 -
