    *happy sigh*

I'm an episode of Doctor Who (written by Neil Gaiman) and a glass of wine to the good.

Dinner is on (half price tuna steaks) and cheesecake to follow.

    Saturdays are good :D

Sounds like a splendid Saturday, Fresian.

And as for the crafting, I'm sure you will find an outlet for your talents. What about church fairs etc? It's the right time of year. :)

I am currently trying to build up a stock of cards, and will start looking for ways to sell them once I have more ready - Crafty Corner is working wonders though and on a good night I'm making up to five cards after dinner :D Sometimes I'm spending a night stamping and colouring images which makes the creation of cards a lot easier.

Yesterdays major bargain - BOOZE!! I noticed on the Grabbit thread that there's a glitch at Te$co at the moment. They have 25% off when you buy 6 bottles of wine - but if you buy 8 mini bottles then you get the discounts for buying 4 of them for £5 as well. My receipt shows:

    Wine A - £7.95 (5 bottles)
    Wine B - £2.29
    Wine C - £3.98 (2 bottles)

So that's £14.22. I then saved £4.22 on the 4 for £5 promotioon and £3.56 on the 25% promotion (it takes the 25% off the pre-promo amount), meaning I got 8 little bottles for £6.44 which is 81p each :D

I don't drink a lot at home, but sometimes get the urge for a wee glass of wine and don't want a whole bottle, so this is a great offer for me.

I'm just about to get myself in the shower and head through to Glasgow to meet Souk for lunch, which I'm greatly looking forward to. I also want to do a bit of clothes shopping as I'm getting annoyed with everything in my wardrobe!

    Morning folks :D

I had a lovely time in Glasgow with Souk yesterday although by the time I went to bed I had a hangover :o:rotfl: We had a really nice lunch and she was kind enough to wait around while I did a little clothes shopping, finally picking up two lovely tops and a pair of leggings from Evans. I did remember why I don't shop for clothes a lot though - £83 gone in minutes :eek: The purchase was put on my credit card, which is a little naughty, but I'll pay it off at the end of the month when Mr F's sister gives me her rent money. I do have funds allocated for clothes in the budget, but rarely spend them so keep them in my ISA. While she's with us I'll just deduct things like that from her money so as to keep the ISA as topped up as possible.

    Money situation is currently:

    PAD/Spends - £29.60
    Entertainment - £33.85
    Groceries - £139.14

I have a couple of things to get at the shops today (fruit from Tesco is rubbish so I didn't buy any yesterday when I was there) but nothing too expensive, and it's finally only a week until payday :D

Having some buyers remorse about the clothes I bought and thinking about taking one of them back. I just don't know if it's me. I think I need a personal shopper to tell me what suits me and what doesn't.

Or I need to get off my lardy !!!! and lose some weight so I can fit into my old clothes. Hmmm...

Nothing much else to report from yesterday; work was rubbish and that's not likely to change again this week. I managed to get the Sun (Urgh) for the free Lego toy (Woo!) and they gave me Sundays toy too (double woo!)

I'll be back again today so I can collect the set which I will either give to my brother or sell on Ebay at the next free listing day.
