@Souk - two courses and booze for a tenner sounds lovely
I'll need to fit in some Primark browsing while I'm in your fair city too as we still don't have one!
Nothing else to report tonight - the house is finally sorted. Well, the living room is. Everything has a place, I just have to keep it there now!!
I'm finally in bed, and my muscles are aching. I wish I had bought a flat with a bath at times like these. I'll just need to turn up the scalding water in the shower tomorrow to try and ease the ouchiness.
Back to work tomorrow morning, so the alarm is set for "Aw bum, is that the time?!" and I fully expect to be ready for bed by eight o'clock tomorrow night!

Back to work today
and back to the normal day to day budgeteering.
PAD/Spends - £105

I have a lot of financial jiggery pokery to do today as Mr F's sister's rent money is due in and with this I have to pay the credit card bill (Boo!) which isn't as bad as it could have been. I need to make sure I have some funds available to pay for decorating too as now that the living room looks good I want to get started on the bedroom too. We have a lot of brushes/rollers etc, so should only have to pay for paint. I can't face the thought of repapering, so was going to stick the tiny bits of peeling paper down with glue and hope for the best
I think the best plan is to get her rent money, account for the credit card bill and then put £100 into my ISA. The rest can be the decorating fund.
Right, better get in the shower then do the dishes, hang out the washing and go to work. I'm a busy Fresian this morning

glad you had a lovely time seeing friends and scoffing - sounds like my perfect holiday! in fact, it was after one such holiday in february (involving me, no kids, all you can eat hotel breakfasts in texasand lots of wine with my mum!) that i weighed myself and discovered i was rapidly heading towards to my pregancy weight :o and i am absolutely not expecting! so i joined weightwatchers online via quidco with 30 quid cashback - which effectively means you get 3 months free. it tracked straight away and i have already been paid it, which is a quidco record for me. even better, i have lost 16lbs so far - that's in 8 weeks :j:j:j. i think it has worked so well for me because i have the app on my iphone & it's easy to keep track of what i eat. even if you don't have an iphone, you don't seem to be too far from a computer most of the time
so should be fine.
before i get all over excited about WW, let me assure you that i don't work for them and i have never been on an official diet before. i was so worried that i would be hungry, but as you can eat most fruit/veg without using up your points allowance, i have been fine - and i am finally getting my 5 a day (and then some!) with ease. basically, my problems with food have always been portion control and boredom eating. i am now much more aware of how much i eat (and how much i *should* eat). i still have treats, like wine at the weekend and the odd biscuit or chocolate (thank god for the tin of roses - i have discovered that sometimes 1 really is enough to satisfy a something-sweet craving).
the online bit is good because i cant bear the thought of being weighed by a stranger or having to sit in a meeting room with loads of other weight-challenged dieters - i just weigh myself on a friday (and if i'm honest, every other day as wellbut it's the friday one that counts!) and i am so pleased. i have still got about 20lbs to go until i am roughly where i want to be, but i will get there.
just checked quidco, and it's 30 quid cashback at the moment - so you've nothing to lose but weight by trying it for 3 months.
xxx ttb (who now returns to lurking again:o)Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Hmmm...sounds like it might be an idea to try this WW thing for a while. I don't know how honest I would be with myself if I was only weighing in online though. I might need the shame of going to a proper Fat Club. It's something to think about anyway.
Today was meant to be a NSD but it never works out that way does it?
I planned to take out mince for dinner but forgot, so had to run to the supermarket to get something for dinner. I managed to buy all reduced items - garlic bread & pasta sauce for dinner and sausages for the freezer as well as my favourite pumpkin seed & sunflower seed bread, om nom nom!
I also bought another Groupon deal today (and from reading her thread I think that Palema bought the same one!) which gets two burgers, soups of the day and soft drinks for £12. Myself and Mr Fresian don't go out to eat very often so this is a nice reasonably priced way to spend some quality time together.
The final news of the day is that I have finally organised an area in the house for my crafting thanks to my friend getting rid of her table/chair. I paid £60 for them and the chair alone cost £100 a year ago, so not a bad deal for meI've put some photos of the new crafty area on my bl*g if anyone wants a wee nosey. The good thing from my point of view is that everything is in one place and I don't have to sit on the floor to make things anymore. It should be easier to keep neat and will hopefully inspire me to make more cards.
Hope everyone is getting on ok - I'm off to bed now as I've been threatening to for an hour but have been too tired to move off the couch

I am working for the rest of the week and on Saturday we're off to the football in Newcastle (Haway the lads and all that) so I suspect the bedroom will be in the same state for a week or two yet :rotfl:
