Take care and have a lovely Easter with lots of eggs, my lovely bovine buddy. :D

Thanks Pickle! I was sorry to read about the demise of your diary, but understand the reasons for it. If anyone I know IRL read this they would know it was me within two pages :o

Not yet. When we return to The Motherland we're going to get it checked out. As Mr F's mum owns a garage, we should be able to fix it fairly cheaply. She needs some other work doing too, so it could end up being an expensive trip....

That would be lovely - we've booked nothing yet :D

I was an eejit and got distracted by Greys Anatomy so forgot to buy that deal for afternoon tea which has now expired. I'm still going to come through on the 15th, but we may have to do something else for lunch. Sorry - that Doctor McDreamy is very distracting :D

    Evening folks,

Well the bank holiday period has been good for cleanliness and organisation Chez Fresian. We've gutted the living room so it's almost respectable (Scottish weather does mean that my pants are hanging up on an airer though :D) and done lots of dusting and polishing. I'm fully up to date with the washing and we've even cleaned out the kitchen cupboards. I think that aliens must have taken over my body ;)

I went to Morrisons today to try and spend £40 so I could save 6p per litre of fuel. I could only manage £32 :o I really am too MSE for my own good sometimes :rotfl:

Nothing massivley MSE to report here. I'm a quarter of the way to my next Amazon voucher with Swagbucks which is good news. I dipped my toes in the MFW board earlier on, but got a little frightened and ran away! I know that I would become mortgage-free using the same principles as I used when becoming debt-free, but it's hard to see how quickly it could happen. I'm just going to keep building up savings and see how I get on from there I think.

Hope everyone's having a lovely bank holiday weekend
