As MIL says, getting to the first £1000 is the hardest bit. One day!
I've got 71 SB points already. How fast do they send the evouchers when you redeem for them? I need a new plant thing for my fish tank and won't buy one, but they do allsorts on Amazon :money:.

You normally get an Amazon voucher within two weeks which isn't too bad. They do a promo on a Friday where you can get extra points when searching. I got 72 points for two searches today which has taken me to within 150 points of another voucher.
I spent half an hour last night updating my Amazon wishlist with DVDs I've been thinking about getting for a while. That way I'm going to be able to binge on really good movies once I've saved enough points - it's a good motivator for me

Another day, another step closer to my holidays
Nothing much of excitement today - little money spent, although the only thing I should have bought was milk, the chips weren't strictly essential
I've done my Friday searches on Swagbucks and completed a really dull Task on their website too, so I'm now 100 points away from a £5 Amazon voucher. If I load up on decent coffee tomorrow I should be able to do a couple of Tasks and cash in again! At least I now know that the ground coffee from Aldi is pretty tasty and less than £2 per bag.
I don't have a lot of plans for the weekend. I need to make a couple of cards for work colleagues, but first I have to find a free version of WinZip to extract some digital stamps I bought recently. One is for a friend who loves llamas, so I downloaded a really cute stamp for her and would like to get that made this weekend.
Off to bed now as it's been a really long week and I need my sleep! Night all

I think I got 10 bucks during searching but I did some TV and tried a couple of surveys but got screened out. I'm going to carry on the free bingo to combine with these vouchers as that should start to build up a nice little pot.
I've got a £5 HMV evoucher, plus a £5 converted voucher from their points card but they have made it that the points voucher can only be spent in store, so I'm doing cokezone and surveys towards the HMV evouchers as there are a couple of DVDs I've spotted and I'll spend the store voucher when I see a CD on sale :money:.One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

*yawn and stretch*
'Tis a lazy day in Fresian Towers, mainly thanks to the Damn Cat waking me up every half an hour between half past five at eight o'clock this morning in an attempt to get his breakfast. Little sh*tebag.
So, although I've pootled about doing dishes and a little washing, I've gone no further than the front door this morning. An adventure that did yield £7 in Tesco vouchers, bringing my total in my little savings pot to £19.50 which is nearly £60 of deals
I'm about to make dinner now - I put a shoulder of lamb in the slow cooker this morning, so we're having that with potatoes and veg and some kind of leftover lamb adventure tomorrow as there appears to be loads of it

Morning folks
Today I'm off to Ikea and Costco with my friend. She has to buy a rug and I need a new chopping board and some utensils, so I may as well buy them there.
I'm trying to draw up a mental list of things I need from the supermarket too, as Morrisons are giving 6p off per litre of fuel if you spend £40 with them from tomorrow. It might be a good opportunity to stock up on catfood and restuff the freezer. I've also been hankering after a new wok so that might do it.
Best run, one of the cats is hiding in the garden and I need to retrieve the little blighter before I go out...!!

I can rarely get photos of my Kitty that show how pretty she is - black cats turn into blobs in photos!I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0
