Morning folks,
It's amazing how quickly a week and a half of holidays can go - it's back to work tomorrowBah and indeed humbug...
I had a lovely time Up North, seeing many friends and family and eating very well indeed. So well that I'm currently trying to determine if there's enough wiggle-room in my budget for Weightwatchers(Other weightloss programmes are available, of course
)
Whilst considering my massivly expanding backside, I went out for afternoon tea yesterday with my best friendI got the deal for £15 through a discount website, much like Groupon, and because I recommended the deal to three people who bought it, I got a refund so it cost me nothing! Very MSE indeed :money: The food was really nice, especially the chocolate brownies topped with double cream, and it's something that I will definitely do again if an offer comes up. I'm still trying to find something fun and budget-conscious to do with Souk when I'm through in Glasgow in a fortnight so am checking all the deals websites every day!!
Swagbucks is going very well - I got a £5 Amazon giftcard on the 23rd of April from them and am already back over 500 points (you need 850 to redeem) I'm trying to remember to use the site everyday and having the toolbar set up on my browser really helps. If anyone else wants to give them a try PM me and I'll refer you
Plans for today are as follows:
- Do dishes (Bah)
- Fill at least two large bags with books for the charity shop - we've been offered a table and chair for our house which would mean I can set up a crafting corner in the living room until we're free of Mr Fresian's sister, but I need to empty one bookcase to accomplish this
- Inventory freezer so I can remember how to meal plan
- Sort out hall cupboard so I can get into Freezer 2 without having the fear of Toilet Roll Mountain falling on top of me

Weight Watchers online is £15 cashback from Quidco. I just joined up and forked out £38 for three months + membership fee. However I'm rapidly realising that just being a member does not guarantee weight loss, and you have to eat carrots and brocolli and other boring stuff.:mad:Start Date: 27/11/2010
Padding: Day 42
Target £8000
Amount: £562.230 -

The dishes aren't done yet. Nor will they be at the rate I'm going.
I've filled three bags with books for the charity shop (just from the living room, haven't tried the bookcase in the bedroom yet) and another bag with old videos that we won't use due to no longer having a VHS player. I've also finally convinced Mr F to bag up the old surround sound system we don't use and to throw out our two (!!) broken playstations
The living room is in chaos...I'm getting a table/chair from a friend so I can set up a crafty corner in the living room. The trouble is that in order to have the table in the corner of the room with the most light I have had to move three bookcases to another side of the room, which meant emptying them all, moving them and then refilling them. I'm shattered...*yawn*
I've gone nowhere near the freezer or the hall cupboard, but have been reorganising the living room for the last three hours. I may be here for some time yet. The only reason I'm keeping on with it is because otherwise we have nowhere to eat our dinner later!

Don't cry too much when you send the books to the charity shop. I'm sure that they will find nice new homes soon. Please call me 'Pickle'
