Glad you had a lovely time with Souk F_F.

Tescos fruit and veg can be a bit dodgy :D Waiting for up date too (drums fingers) but need to have a quick read elsewhere then it off to bed.

    Morning :D

    Quick update then:

    It's 3 days until payday and I have -

PAD/Spends - £6.11 (and a couple of quid in my purse)
Entertainment - £33.85 (and a couple of nights out next week)
    Groceries - £142.95

My savings are looking healthy and I haven't had to dip into them yet. That might not be the case next month as I am only getting two hours of overtime in my wages this month so will have less money than normal. Next month should be a bumper month though!

It's free listing on Ebay this weekend and I'm hoping to get some stuff listed and maybe even sold. I am working on Sunday though so if I'm going to do anything it's going to have to be tomorrow. I have vague plans of writing up descriptions tonight ready to copy and paste tomorrow, but I might not get round to it.

Work has been busy and rubbish for the last couple of weeks which I think, in part, is why I've not been posting. When I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps I never want to bring anyone else down with me. Things aren't all bad though. I'm two thirds of the way to my next Amazon voucher with Swagbucks and just got emailed one this morning, so I'm building the treats fund in my Amazon account back up again!

Hope everyone else is having a lovely week - and that this counts as a "proper" update ;)
  • My swagbucks are slow as i havent got time to do the extras at the moment, but it will come!

    Morning folks :D

    Money first....

Not a bean in my PAD/Spends account as I've made the last PAD of the month.

Entertainment - £27.25 (Went for drinks after work on Friday)
Groceries - £119.27 I do need to spend some of this today as we're needing some cat litter. A good chunk was spent yesterday in Morrisons as well as they had some decent offers on. I now have enough hair dye to keep me going until about September :D

Since last payday it's been Mr F's birthday and we've both gone to The North for a holiday and to Newcastle for the football. Both of these were covered by extra income, either from my overtime or from the rent money we're getting.

I've managed to increase my ISA savings by £162.75 since last payday and the Handbag/Car fund by £36.08. I've also made a couple of small mortgage overpayments - yesterday I raided the terramundi and put £40 into the mortgage. So, savings not going too badly either.

In addition to all of these good things, I've been able to budget for some fun things too. I've spent far too much on fun crafty things, but have made some lovely items with them :D Although I bought clothes when I was with Souk, I'm taking them back (too much money to pay for what they are) and feel justified in that as yesterday I nipped in to Dorothy Perkins and have come home with a stunning tunic top for £7 :money: I'm now saving for the Next sale in July to revamp my work wardrobe.

    Other stuff

Yesterday I didn't list anything on Ebay (oops...) but did manage to get the house looking really clean, and did two loads of washing. This is currently my maximum as the weather in Scotlandshire is awful and I can't hang up more than two loads indoors. Bah and double bah.

I went to the shops, picked up my Lego toy thanks to the Sun (Ebay here it comes) and bought my lovely new top from Dotty Ps. I then went to town and met my lovely friend for a champagne afternoon tea (she paid, through the same deal I used a couple of weeks ago) and a lovely time was had.

Today I'm off to a wedding fair with the same friend (Gah...) then home to list on Ebay (double gah...) and make a vat of bolognaise so that I can eat proper food when I've had a long day instead of existing on cheese on toast.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend :D
