    Morning all :D

I had a corking nights sleep in my nice clean bedroom in my nice clean bedsheets, so I'm feeling awake and refreshed this morning for once. I would have easily managed another hour in bed, but the cat decided it was time for me to wake up and feed him. Little git. T'other cat is just grateful that you remember to feed him at all :rotfl:

    So, plans for today....

I'm waiting for the water to heat up then will have a quick shower. Although I know I really should clean the bathroom, I can't really be bothered with that today, so might be lazy and leave it :o I'll see how I feel.

I'm going to have some toast, then head to the shops with a list and stick to that list unless I see a Bargain That Cannot Be Ignored. My plan is to do M&S/Morrisons first then head home and unpack. I'll then head to Aldi as they had milk for 79p the last time I was in.

Once all that's done, it's going to be a relaxing afternoon - homemade soup for lunch then a whoospied pork shoulder roasted for dinner and served with nice veg. Woo to Sundays :D

best of luck with the saving this year. My cats woke me up about an hour ago - i could definitely have done with some more sleep!! One looked at her food with disgust and went straight out and the other tried eating my toast instead!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We got Chinese for dinner last night (I know, not very MSE but it was piggin' tasty :D) and the cats have learned to associate the smell with a bit of chicken as a treat from a chicken fried rice, learned when I used to come home from work on Friday nights a little tipsy and got a chicken fried rice on the way home

This meant that last night one of them was mooching under the table and actually tried to knock the fork out of Mr Fresian's hand with his paw :rotfl::rotfl:

We were treated to Chinese last night and spent most of the meal nudging the cats away from the plates of chicken fried rice.

I dread to think what they will be like with the roast chicken today!!

One of ours paces up and down in front of the oven miaowing when it's cooking then sits as close to you as he can while you're eating, occasionally raising a paw as though he were a dog begging :D

I should have got hamsters :rotfl:

I think I must be ill. Bathroom is now sparkling, apart from the shower which I'll clean while I'm in there.

Must do something slovenly before the end of the day to even things out :D

    Our cats sound so similar.
Our old arthitic cat can't manage to get on to the sofa for a sleep most days but can jump as high as the kitten when offered a piece of chicken :rotfl:

Haha! One of mine was on top of the newly-cleaned chest of drawers last night and miaowing as he couldn't get down. I went to the kitchen and opened a packet of Felix as it was dinnertime and heard an almighty *thump* which was him hurling himself to the ground in case his brother ate all his dinner :D

    They're worse than kids ;)

M&S and Morrisons are now done. Bit peeved that the eggs I paid 60p for yesterday in Morrisons are now 30p (for four free range) but can't moan. I suppose.

I got a whole chicken, tatties, parsnips and green beans for £5 in M&S which was a really good deal as I love their Oakham chickens. The chicken itself was £4.55 so I got the rest for 45p really :D
