Souk isn't coming through after all - we've got quite bad snow and after the traffic chaos of the winter she doesn't want to risk getting stuck here - and I don't blame her. I'm off to the hairdressers just now to use up a Groupon voucher and then might go to Morrisons if it's not too cold. Otherwise I'll go tomorrow.
Best dash - need to print off the voucher for my haircut

Glad to hear the money situation is on the up. Florence is amazing we went a couple of years ago but we flew into Pisa and stayed there as it is much cheaper and you can get the train across to Florence it only takes about an hour.
We booked through expedia and they have offers for tours you can do which were really good. If you want to go to the Uffizi gallery it is worth looking at doing a tour as tickets are nearly impossible to get otherwise. We also did a dinner and Italian music thing was excellent.
Did you ever receive my postage surprise?Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

I have done a mountain of housework today as Mr Fresian has gone to his grandma's for dinner and I [strike]couldn't be bothered[/strike] decided against going with him. I've scrubbed the kitchen to within an inch of it's life, changed the bedsheets, have done three loads of washing and am currently sorting out Washing Mountain. This is the pile of clean clothes that lives on our chest of drawers and usually requires crampons to scale it. I've been threatening to do something about it for ages but having not been able to find matching socks yesterday I've finally cracked.
Once that's done I need to shift the crafting stuff from the middle of the living room floor and put fresh linen on the bed. I can then sit on my @rse and watch telly for the rest of the night. I think it's going to be an hour or two yet before I can do that though
Pleased to see a Top Tip on Hypno's thread about meat/veg/tatties for £5. I'm going to head along tomorrow and see what's available in our M&S. I used to be good at getting there when they were reducing the food, but always seem to miss it now. Still, I can nip in there and then head to Morrison's to get all the things I forgot to buy this morning
I'm still bummed that Souk didn't make it over, but it's done wonders for the cleanliness in Fresian Towers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
