I am happy to save the tokens for you, maybe if you get more than one person offering we can order them for you as I expect it is one per household???
Will have to double check
EE
Thank you!! I'm only looking to order the first one as, although I love my mum dearly, I can't afford to buy more than one of them
I'll call the number and register today and will be very very grateful for your help!0 -

On the odd occasion that someone else has had it at work etc I have been so enraged that I have had to go and have a glass of wine to calm me down

I suspected we might have similar "idealogical issues" with the content of said paper
To keep this MSE, so far today I've phoned the council to get them to replace my stolen wheelie bin (!!!!!!....) and been told it's another ten working days - on top of the ten working days which have passed since the last time I asked. I've also booked a haircut (Woo!) via Groupon, although the salon is pretty busy so I have to continue looking like Wurzel Gummidge until the start of March :eek:0 -

Morning folks
If you're a regular Mail reader and don't intend to collect the tokens in the paper for the Royal Doulton figurines, would you consider collecting them for me? My mum loves Doulton and the figurines would make excellent presents for her, but I have certain issues with the Daily Mail and refuse to buy itI will happily cover postage for the tokens, but obviously only if you're buying the paper anyway.
Much love,
F_F
I'll get them for you FF - Dad buys the Mail so its lying around once he has read it.

Shameless copy and paste from Frugal Living thread...
PhotoBucket isn't behaving so I can't upload a screenshot of the Spreadsheet of Wonder, so here's how January has gone...
Under budget
Gas/electric
Home insurance
TV Licence
Virgin Media
Mobiles
Transport
Union
Entertainment
Clothes
Monthly current account fee
Over budget
Christmas £80.65/£30
Council Tax £122/£108.33 (None this month/next though which will balance it)
Crafting £19.25/£16.67
Haircuts £18/£10
Groceries £186.13/£180
Anything else £381.26/£80.92
Total monthly budget £833.33
Total amount spent £1152.43
Budgety thoughts
I'm not hugely concerned with my overspends. Rationale is below!
Christmas - a lot of sales shopping has meant I spent more than intended. This should even out over the year.
Haircuts - the £18 spent was for a Groupon voucher worth over £50 and the appointment isn't till March so this will again even out.
Groceries - £6 over budget isn't bad, and I have a lot of food in the house at the moment.
Anything else - this is the big one. The main culprits are the new iPod (£193) and the cinema pass (£162) which total £355 - although I did use £45 of savings for the iPod. Even assuming that those two total £315, that means I only spent £66 on 'others' which would have been within budget.
All in all I'm quite pleased with that, especially as I'm going to be able to add Quidco etc into the pot as income soon.
Next month - under budget!!0 -
Further thoughts on January spends:
Thanks to the spreadsheet I use, I can input what I spent on something versus what it was originally worth (BOGOFs etc)
Groceries spend £186.13
Worth £232.61
"Others" spend £381.26
Worth £499.71
So although I have overspent, there has been moneysaving done too!
