Woo Hoo! well done for taking the plunge. Now, how about this for an idea - do you pay your council tax like we do, over ten months rather than 12? If so, you have two months coming up without having to pay it? We send ours to the mortgage....Intergalactic_Floozie wrote: »Wow, just think there are some people (and I am sure they wont mind me saying this) who came to this site owing a lot more than what is outstanding on your mortgage, and paid it off within a few short years.
(disclaimer - I am not, and never will be, one of them!).
But my mortgage is less than £80K, so I'm quite proud of that
(PS, all I spent this weekend was £12 on make-up. I'm toning my look down now I'm in my mid-thirties. Transvestite hooker chic no more!)
So's mine, now! So glad we started OP'ing!flying_fresian wrote: »Where does all my money go?!

Yes please, but once the laptop is up and running again. The PC is Mr F's domain and I try and keep the accounting off it!
I overpaid by £100 this month which is just under my council tax payment and intend to overpay by £122 next month which is the full amount. It's a very good idea!0 -

Of course you can leave a message for Beanie here DFW! You can pop in for a virtual cuppa too though
I'm on the train now anyway on my way to Englandshire for the last time in a while as I start my new secondment on Monday. I'm going to miss the extra money bit I'm quite glad that I won't have travel to worry about for a while!
I didn't renew my cinema pass after all last night. After getting passport photos done and queuing for twenty minutes it turns out you can't renew the damn thing at the counter anymore. Instead you have to use a booth which is right at the front is the cinema and get your picture taken in front of anyone in the queue. I will do it at the weekend when its quieter instead.0 -
Thanks DFW
