Money
PAD/Spends - £130

Groceries - £115.05
ISA Savings - £810.04
VSP - £176.94
19 days until payday so that's looking pretty healthy. The frugal challenge is working quite well for me at the moment as it's letting me think more about what I spend on utter nonsense
I received some money I was due from work today, so that's gone into savings. £100 of it paid of the interest-free overdraft accrued when I made my small mortgage overpayment. Hopefully next month my savings (in the ISA) will hit the £1000 mark and I will then be able to make more regular payments to the mortgage.
In excellent news, Mr Fresian spoke to his sister last night about her finding another place. I'm not sure about timescales etc, but the wheels have been set in motion! This will make the need for the frugal challenge all the greater as I need to make sure that I have the funds/budgeting abilities to cope with anything unexpected as I won't have the luxury of her rent money to fall back on. Still, the Epic Craft Room draws ever closer :rotfl::rotfl:

hi FF glad to see you are mainly keeping to the frugal life.
The thing I'm most proud of is not buying any books so far this year. Normally I'm a terrible book fiend! Still, joining the library has helped. I've been trying to wade my way through a pretty awful book this week but if I can't finish it today I'm going to move on.
This month I'm doing better on frugality as I have had an extra payment owed to me from work which will offset some spending and have also remembered to include the £15 per month I get from my Halifax Reward accounts as income. I'll also be pleased when my Quidco finally makes an appearance
My plan for today is to go to work for a couple of hours (They overpaid me some overtime so rather than lose money next month I'm working it back for them) then head home and potter about. I don't need anything from the shops yet although I will need fruit for next week - I'm going to get that on Sunday though.
Have a nice Saturday everyone!
