  • Morning all.

£3.00 to the credit card for me today please.

We have telephone and internet reconnected at home. Mr Diz was a little over zealous on Sunday whilst mowing the lawn and 'that cable' (which he's been saying he'll tack back against the wall since we moved in 4 years ago :D) got caught up and mowed.

Mr Diz seemed very un-bothered when I told him the phone no longer worked but went a little quiet when I explained that also meant no internet. He didn't know what to do with himself with no Ebay browsing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good old BT. £130 to fix it
I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...
  • Hope scraps recovers!!

    Total for sunday is £69.24
    Total for yesterday is £1461.44

    Well done everyone!!

I stopped taking my citalopram last week as I ran out and couldn't afford to get the prescription, but I think I need to get back on them as I've been a mental mess all weekend! Last night when I went to MrS, I shouted at him when I turned up (he hadnt answered his phone to me 4 times, parked across both his spaces and the buzzers at the back of the flats don't work), then promptly burst into tears followed by hysterical laughter. I was tired and drained after my weekend of exams and sick of feeling dizzy all the time but last night was a bit too mental even for me!! Not sure what the poor bloke thought of it all. I've calmed down a bit now, and really want to try not to go back on the pills as I can't afford the monthly prescriptions!

Last day at work today then 3 days off.... no plans really as I'm skint, but hopefully enjoying the sunshine, getting my uni work done and spending friday in Hyde Park with MrS.

Psycho - I came off citalopram about 9 months ago and it took a good month to clear my system and for me to feel a bit more like, well, me again. I'd been on 60mg a day and most days couldn't remember my own name because of it. I tried reducing the dose to 20mg for a few weeks but didn't notice any difference so I went cold turkey (against medical advice btw) but it worked for me. It was hard work though, had to take things really slowly and be very kind to myself for a long while but definitely worth it. Couldn't have done it without DH's support though so maybe have a chat with MrS about what you're trying to do and get him on board? Now is probably a good time to do it, with the sun being out - natural mood booster :) good luck!!

Thanks Winnie... he did say previously that I don't need them as I've got him but I think it was an eye opener for him last night!! I was only ever on 20mg which was increased to 30mg for the past month. Hopefully by our holiday I'll have calmed down!! :o

Well thats my Easter plans down the drain :( £198.09 on a new exhaust. Still I suppose it's got to be done hasn't it, and at least it hasn't taken me over my overdraft or anything like it would have done a few years back.

So I am padding the leftover £1.91 to savings (because I had already rounded down my account and don't want a silly number in there :rotfl:)

About to go and sit in the sunshine with my kindle... is it too early for a glass of wine? :p

    xx
