Marked 2 sets of books and a class set of homework yesterday! Yey me. So today I'm going round to my sisters to see my nephew who is 16 on Monday.

We randomly inherited a garden here in Wales yesterday which I will explain tomorrow when im back with my computer. I also read a thread (not on here) about teachers striking over pensions. It was basically a rant about how lazy teachers are these days and how we get paid loads but just let the kids run the show! Mad me very angry...don't know why I read these things. LOL

  • well done with the marking!! and the garden sounds intruiging....
presumably "laziness" comment was by someone who has never had to control a group or classroom full of kids for 7 hours!!

hope youre enjoying the easter hols :)

Afraid the garden isn't for veg since I won't be down again for.any length of time to grow the babies. So still no home grown veg cos DH doesn't want the responsibility. Ho hum.

Lovely seeing my sister and nephew yesterday. Nephew loved the princess card, pink wrapping paper, hello kitty key ring, lovely pink sweet 16 badge and some skinny jeans. He has a good sense of humour and loved the pink joke. LOL.

Back home to reality today though...not traveling till early evening because of the heat. We want belle to be comfortable.

Ok kids...I'm HOME! :( Well gutted. We finally get an outside space of our very own in Wales (a lush garden) to sit out in and I have to come home. How rude?

Still, I'm all sorted to go back to work next week...not overly looking forward to it. But with it only being 3 days I can't really complain. Boo.

I'm also a victim of my own success, I have 59 kids that have opted to take Psychology, as it stands if it's just me I'm allowed a class of 25 as a maximum. Hmmm...interesting. Wonder if I can convince the other psychology graduate teacher to take a class for me. Still, should enable me to pick the best of the best from the list. Woo.

Money from CC's is being transferred around cyberspace so we can close our unneeded CC accounts at the end of the week, hopefully. I've been looking at house !!!!!! all day as well. I REALLY REALLY want to move. I HATE HATE HATE living here and I keep thinking that life is just to short to live somewhere you hate. But then sensible head kicks in. :(

The thought of going to school tomorrow has only just hit me. I may cry...I've been loving these holidays. I thought the 3 day week would make it easier - but somehow it doesn't. I wouldn't mind but I don't even have a difficult week to get through this week either.

Today was a bit of a mixed bag. The ITT student didn't turn up - text to say she was ill, but then spent all day emailing people seemingly asking them to send her things. She hadn't planned her lessons for today or ordered any equipment so the teachers who's lessons she should have been doing were NOT at all pleased.

Psychology has been christened "The Monster" at school because so many kids have opted for it! ha ha. Go me. I've been given 2 classes, but they are on at the same time, so I need another teacher. Thought I'd give my best friend who has studied psychology (currently on Mat leave) first refusal and she's bit my arm off!!! I'm now VERY excited!!! Although I've been given my own budget and everything...scary stuff!

Right now to book my place on the Psychology conference I've managed to get school to agree to me going to! :D
