Thanks TYO...but it's 3 days before her birthday yet...so she's not had anything! Ha ha.
Yeah, I liked marking SATs and I think it stood me in good stead for teaching - it defo helped (I was finishing my PGCE when I did it). The flashbacks for me where having all the blooming papers everywhere and switching between papers and online stuff. It was hard work. However, that said....this is ALL online. Fingers crossed my internet doesn't chose to play up at that point. Ha ha.

Hmmm....today has totally run away with me. I have been up since about 8am. But am still in PJ's on sofa. I'd love to say I've done nothing all day but I've been designing spreadsheets for school...I'm such a loser.

I've done some coursework ones - a little different to the school tracker we have because this one will allow me to show them who is achieving the best in relation to other pupils performance but taking into account the different grades. I have pupils working at A* and some at a G. It's demoralizing talking grades all the time for the low ability so I've made a spreadsheet that goes by individual performance v's target.

I've also produced a homework tracker spreadsheet for when I teach Psychology as well. :)

OMG...I forgot about that! I kept reporting papers as missing and then I'd randomly find it in completely the wrong place. Grrrr. Was hideously annoying.

I've never done actual online marking before I hope it's easier. Well, it will be easier for me that having actual papers - no fear of Belle eating them! Ha ha. :rotfl:

That old chestnut - 'sorry miss, the dog ate my homework' :rotfl:You could have turned the tables - 'sorry sonny, the dog ate your coursework' ;)

Good news....my Nationwide ISA confirmation has come through! YEY...so I can rest assured that I'm getting the better rate of interest than I was now. Woo hoo. :D

Best reregister for the online banking then...I've lost all my details. ha ha

EDIT: Have now reregistered so I'll be able to manage everything online! :D

I have a VERY exciting play date with my friend and her baby today - can't wait! Going to take round the height chart that Michelle recommended as a present - so thanks for that!

Had a busy couple of days. Done my year 7 reports, got lots of resources for Psychology (although I'm not meant to be doing this yet...lol, prioritize twinklie, prioritize). I've developed a spreadsheet for the different science courses I teach in order to rank pupils against themselves rather than others and made a homework spreadsheet, to enable me to track pupil progress. I've also planned all my meetings for next term as well. :D Go me!

Still got a few bits and bobs to do, mainly marking though....but doubt I'll do anything today. In fact I'm going to go and get my shower etc and see if I can fit any work in before my friend calls to say she's home with baby and ready for a visit!

Very much enjoyed my baby cuddles....wish I could have my own though. :( Still, they loved the pressies I took round and I got to cuddle baby for a good hour or so. He's soooooo pretty. Tomorrow...hmm, well it's just a case of avoiding the football that is going to drive me nuts. LOL

Ok...not posted this before now cos I thought things would get better. DH still hasn't gone back to work, nor Wales full stop. I'm struggling to get him to do much of anything to be honest and am feeling really run down and worn out by it. I feel awful that I'm not more understanding but its driving me nuts. We had a heart to heart yesterday and he has agreed to see someone for counseling if he doesn't go back to work next week.

But then tonight Belle droolled on him and he went MENTAL at me about it. I have just taken myself off to bed but he came upstairs and gave me a really insincere and angry apology. I'm at a loss with what to do with him now. I really just don't know. Advice appreciated.

So sorry to hear this twinklie ((hugs)). It does sound like he is depressed, it is really hard to be not working - especially for esteem reasons. And it is really draining for the people who have to live with it too. Definitely see if he can get some help, and get some support for yourself too. I read a book called Living with the black dog, which was about how to live with someone with depression, perhaps you could order from your library?

Apologies if this is an assumption about your partner, I've not really kept up with the thread. I've been depressed myself in the past, hence why I came to that conclusion.
