No - it isn't girly at all. I like it. Ours is a giant teddy bear. You must be excited about going to see her. Sounds like she will be glad to get home.

He's ok...ish. We've been arguing A LOT! But I'm trying to bite my tongue as much as possible. We went to my mates wedding though yesterday and that seems to have perked him up a bit. Just as well because I got incredibly drunk and have been fit for nothing all day! LOL

I can't believe Belle is 1 on the 16th! I feel so old. :rotfl:

Funeral was lovely...but mother in-law has stooped to an all time low. But on the bright side I get to cuddle my friends baby tomorrow. Yey!

Well, I'm IN LOVE with the baby...he's sooooo pretty. I could actually eat him. :D

Also, it's been all go on the health stuff. I'm now officially under the hospital for my chest, have a chest physio appointment (just waiting for date to come through) and had an occupational health appointment yesterday. They have recommended a voice coach for me and that my absence trigger be upped because I will be ill repeatedly and there is nothing anyone can do for me on that score.

Sounds stupid but I'm just so relieved that things are FINALLY happening here. It's a massive weight off my mind.

Sounds very promising. Will the voice coach be like speech therapy? I found that really useful when i did it with my throat problems.

And a good idea to up your absence trigger. It will save stress long term won't it.

I'd not even thought about the absence trigger but felt so much better after she said it. It just takes a bit of pressure off doesn't it. Yeah I think it is speech therapy basically....it's just cos my voice is getting weaker and weaker with each chest infection. DOH!

I'm sure they will have some good strategies for you to alter your breathing and use what you have better. They did it for me even when i was 6 months pregnant and struggling anyway to breathe.

Make sure work do all that is suggested as well to help you. Mine were supposed to put up blinds in my classroom to stop my room getting too hot, but most of my support came from within department.

I guess any speech therapy appointments that fall within school time will not get classed as time off, so that should also help. I bet they will be keen to keep you going. The nicest thing is if they can help you not get as ill as you did last summer hols. You must be run down by now anyway as it is such a long term.

I'm glad it is all getting sorted for you.
