Hey twinklie
Glad for you that its the holidays!! Boo about the work but I guess at least can be done at your own pace ... I think friends who are teachers have it tough in the amount of work they have to bring home thats for sure!!
Hope the health appts go well and mean you can get an idea for some strategies. Sure it is a relief for work to be understanding about any absences you may need as a result too...
Aw on the baby (ps you arent allowed to eat them! :rotfl:) its lovely when close friends have babies too as there is something just extra special I think! and you get lots of cuddles that way too!
hope you have got some rest time (and perhaps more baby cuddles??) booked in for your holidays too..0 -
I'm definitely booking me in for more baby cuddles....although I'm a bit gutted about the lack of baby eating I'm allowed to do! :rotfl:
I will rest lots and to start the holiday in the right way I've spent my day getting my hair done and it's now all blonde and red and curly (I normally have poker straight hair). Feeling very very relaxed and the weather is helping massively!

Firstly she went to the funeral home and told them to change how his grandma had been presented (despite the fact her sons had already discussed and agreed how they wanted her sorted). Grrr. Then she called DH and said that he's not to call her mum any more and that he has no mother.
THEN she went round the funeral telling everyone how awful we were being to her and that she'd done nothing wrong and we'd just stopped talking to her and turned nasty!!! !!!!!!????
Belle will get something especially given I'm off work....just not quite sure what yet. Bless her cottons.
School have asked if I want to take on another pupil for One to One tuition. Yey me! Although I'd much rather do science.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just had a look at my student loans online account. Looks like I still owe £23,455.88. I'm never going to pay it off....they'd be very lucky if I did. It's madness and very annoying that I lose £122 out of my pay cheque every month....grr.
Although Martin reckons it'll be paid off by August 2025 according to his calculator. Not likely. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh poor DH ..... no words other than some people are awful parents! how is he doing? sounds like it is more of the same for him and you guys as I remember you mentioning before things werent great..
I darent even look at my student loan feels like itll be forever before paying off but yeah Id much rather have the money in my bank account every month! I did remember reading tho it wasnt worth paying it off due to good interest? (or maybe it wasnt worth paying off before the mortgage?..)
Oooo when is Belle one? love the idea of a cake made out of dog biscuits!!0 -
Yeah I would never op student loan...it just isn't worth it. But it is interesting to FINALLY see it start to go down. As for Belle, she's 1 on the 16th. So some spoiling is in order. She's like the queen though with 2 birthdays. Her actual one and when she came home with us. LOL.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
