A less productive day for me today but DH went and did his CBT and passed. So we are on for going to get his new (second hand) scooter tomorrow. I'm not over keen about it but what can you do. It should hopefully save his sanity and free him up a bit so he's not waiting round for public transport down there all the time.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well done your DH. Mine did his CBT (paid for by me in lieu of an engagement present!) and then never used it, but we joke he could put it after his name...BA, PGCE, CBTPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Feeling really grim today. Was a bit yesterday but thought nothing of it. Today however, I've got a stupid sore throat, cough and am full of mucus.
Stupid bloody lungs. I really am fed up of being ill, but I guess I better just accept that this is the status quo now.
It sucks. Could be worse though I guess. Bah...must stop moaning.
Another £100 transfered into ISA today which made me smile though!Just wish it was more....but there I go being greedy again.

Went to Halifax to get DH's new scooter today. He LOVES it. So now he's insured, the proud owner of a scooter and a happy happy bunny. He says he's leaving it up here this week - don't think he's quite got the confidence to drive it all the way down to Wales just yet. Plus he wants to buy some slightly warmer clothing. He was COLD on the way back! :rotfl:
He has to stay here tomorrow as well because he has an appointment with a dental technician to sort out his false tooth which has broken AGAIN!Bloomin' typical!

Funnily enough I said that to him about the leathers. Just showed him your post as well to illustrate my point. He didn't look overly impressed...but he's coming round to the idea.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right been asked to write half a page for the school mag about Psychology. Not really sure what to put if I'm honest. Crumbs!! I'm allowed some pictures as well....hmmmm...help! Why have I agreed to do this again? It's what gets sent out into the public domain, local waiting rooms etc and to businesses. We do one every term. I did an article once before, but have no idea what to put in for this. HELP!!!
Parents evening tomorrow so having a bit of an easy evening. Got a bad headache as well so contemplating not taking Belle for her evening walk. Is that being irresponsible? I always worry that I'm a bad mummy if I don't take her on a big walk when I get home.
DH just called, the buses are mental where he is and he's been stuck waiting for over an hour now. He's not taken the scooter down there with him yet because he wants to have a proper look at it before he does the big drive down to Wales. Also has a few things to buy...like leathers that don't look like leathers! I've convinced him he needs protection but he is going to buy leathers that look like jeans or something.
Think he's still feeling down...he was just saying he's at the point where he feels like jacking in his PhD. It's not as easy all the living apart etc as we BOTH thought it would be. We just want to be together and start our family. I know I keep moaning about this but, it just seems to get worse and worse over time. This weekend I noticed that we are totally out of sync with each other as well. Can't remember the last time we actually went to bed at the same time....or snuggled and giggled on the sofa. Think we are hitting a dangerous crossroads. I voiced my opinions to DH and he said he was thinking the exact same thing. We are both determined to stay together and not grow too far apart so I just hope we both manage to work at it.
Don't get me wrong my marriage isn't in crisis or anything...but we are just noticing things are changing. I also think he's still down after losing his gran but I haven't said anything, think he's got enough to think about this week. I'm going to try and do something nice for him at the weekend and see what happens. Not sure what yet...but defo something.
Right....what to put in this psychology article. Hmmm....Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
