Oddly it does though Courgette...as does everyone else's comments. I'm fed up of compromise and being sensible all the time as well. Bah...it's such hard work. To make it worse we've identified an area and found some LOVELY houses now as well. I'm going to try and sit on it this week and see how I feel. I want to make sure I'm not being a bit too spontaneous.

I've always wanted a garden and to grown my own veg - I think it would be a really relaxing way to wind down. And a nice kitchen would get me cooking more. I've just spent £40 on ready meal cack...purely because I really can't be bothered cooking in THAT kitchen. It's cold...even in summer in there.

I know how you feel, top of my house wish list was a nice kitchen, second was a garden to grow the nice food in! All I need now is chickens for eggs, pigs for bacon and cows for steak ........... I think I need a bigger garden

It's nuts how much you can get done when you are feeling positive. I got up EARLY to take Belle for a run on the park before work. Did a full days teaching, came home, put on a clothes wash, washed up, took Belle on the park for another run, brought in a wash and folded it, hung out the other wash and made tea (Chilli fries and pan seared Tuna - yum).

DH kept me up last night...he had an hour and a half monologue about the house we've seen. Looks like he's really keen to look much further into the whole moving thing now as well. So I guess that's what we'll be doing this weekend.

Man I can't believe it's only 7.30pm. I've done loads. I am pretty tired though...might just plan a few bits and bobs. I have a piece of coursework to mark for the morning as well. Hmmmm...decisions decisions. Might look at the house again. Ha ha.

Right well the house viewing is booked for a week on Saturday...I'm quite excited now. In other news had an odd conversation with a member of SLT yesterday about sorting out a form for me for next year (mine leave VERY soon... :(). Anyway the whole conversation was really odd. I got the feeling I was being probed. I couldn't figure out why though.

Anyway today I've found out there is a potential for 2 different promotions coming up...I think they were checking I'd be interested. One of them sounds RIGHT up my street. FINGERS CROSSED and watch this space! :D I WILL get one. I know where I went wrong last time and have SOOOOOO much to say about myself now. I am after all a genius! :D

Yeah I'd be very excited to look at this house...but it is towards the top of what we can afford. It's been on the market since mid December 2010. It was on at 159K and was reduced to 149K in Feb. They bought it for 145K in 2007. With that in mind I'm wondering if we did go for it what sort of price they'd accept.

I'm fully aware that I'm getting a head of myself here since we haven't even put our house on the market (although houses round us are the only ones people can afford and seem to sell fast at the right price). I'm just thinking a head - if not for this house then the one we do find that we are interested in. But also I'm trying to do a budget - to double check our finances. Is 3K a reasonable amount to set aside for fees etc or is that not enough?

Want to make sure I get my budget right otherwise if we did manage to sell ours and progress it could cause a problem. Doh!

So DH got an email telling off. He's been told he has one last chance to pull his socks up or they will not let him finish his phd. I'll explain more later...but basically its just one more thing I don't need. And the worst part is there is nothing I can do because its all out of my control. Grr.
