But you have got something to show for it, you've spent less and on your way to being debt free
Junes not here yet but it soon will be. If you carry on as you are and be as careful as you can then as you say you'll see a difference, might be small, but it's a start. If you give up, June will arrive and you can bet your bottom cyber dollar you'll be wishing it was January again so you could turn back the clock and continue being careful.
You might feel it is a huge mountain to climb but minnie when you get there what a fabulous view it will be

Need to reduce our debts!!0 -
minnie2, remember Rome wasn't built in a day! You're making progress, and less debt than there would have been, if you weren't trying
So it's positive for you, and a learning curve. Don't be too hard on yourself..... you've left the starting block, and the winning tape is out there.... but you don't have to raech that in 3 weeks, or 3 months..... as long as, one day, you reach it

Hi, I would very much like to be included. It has taken me 19 days of lurking to decide to do so. My partner and I gave up teaching careers last July to set up our own business and times are tight. I thank you all for the tips and tip offs that I have benefited from.Man is the only creature that consumes without producing.0

(((((Minnie))))) - you're doing great and the rewards will come in time. You're on the right path to getting where you want to be.:T
I wonder could you make do with something you've got for the funeral or maybe get something from a charity shop, or borrow from a friend. I've really stressed about what to wear in the past and I've gone to 2 funerals wearing ordinary clothes - jeans and tops. I apologised profusely to the families and they honestly couldn't have cared less, they seemed just to value my presence. I felt so bad about it though - until I saw people wearing the same at my parents' funerals. I didn't care or even notice, what mattered to me was that people were there, not what they wore. I was at another one where I was dressed in a black suit and actually felt out of place because so many people were dressed casually, even some of the chief mourners. It doesn't seem to be the norm to wear black over here now. I deeply regret now that I actually skipped funerals because I thought I would cause offence by not dressing "properly". But then I guess it depends on the person. Hugs to you anyway pet, it's so hard losing someone let alone having to deal with money worries about how you'll manage the funeral. But I'll bet if your loved one were alive they wouldn't want you worrying and getting into financial difficulty over an outfit.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
