Oh mellymeep you lucky thing, I would LOVE to go to Coachella. We are going in September for our honeymoon and i've spent what seems like months reading reviews of places to stay. The NYNY looks really good for the price, but obviously it would be nie for you to hear first hand reviews form people who have stayed there x

    Hi

I've stayed at NYNY every time we've been to Vegas (four times), we really liked the location, price, atmosphere and eating/drinking places.

The last time we went (last June) we were quite disappointed that there had been no changes at all to the rooms (always stayed in the basic rooms). They have very dark wood furniture, very old fashioned TVs and it just felt a bit tired.

Please don't get me wrong, I love NYNY, doesn't matter about the TV's we are out all the time seeing live entertainment, its clean and comfy and we will be visiting there when we are there in June this year but we aren't staying there this time.
Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.

Hi guys, has anybody bought hotel in Vegas through Netflights? The prices look really good, but there is no mention if the price includes all taxes or resort fee.
I phoned their free number and agent told me they include all tax and fee in price except for MGM and Planet Hollywood. But when you click to book those 2 hotels there is no mention off additional fee you have to pay at hotel?
Thought Netflights were quite good company, but this looks messy..

It's just suspiciously good, they have 4 nights in NYNY (Park Avenue Deluxe double) for £185, saying it's including all tax and resort fee. Direct with hotel it is £308..

Hob, we are also getting married in vegas in Oct too :j.

We're using Chapel of the Flowers - based on friend's recommendation as well as good trip advisor reviews. We have pretty much done it all via email/ their website - very helpful, a little sales-y but not in your face and they respect your decisions/ financial restrictions...

It all depends on the type of wedding you want - big/ small, cheap/ lavish.... but what ever you want - you can likely do it in Vegas.
    Married in Vegas - 25th October 2011!

We're getting married in July at Little Church o the West - couldn't have been simpler, just booked on the website and hey presto! Had a couple emails from them discussing flowers etc and they have always responded promptly. Nice location too - in nice grounds just past Mandalay Bay

Not booked with Netflights before, but are you comparing like for like , ie £ for £ and not £ and $.

Have you checked all the discount sites ie smartervegas etc, Direct with NYNY some nights are $44

I'm just reading reviews about American Airlines who we're flying with and its not looking good... so I'm a bit worried about that :(

    AA are pretty good
Decent seating (in twos at the side and you can prebook at no charge), food is reasonable, crew are older -which personally I prefer as they are more experienced and good connections.

What is worrying you about the reviews ?

    Hi photome,
I'm comparing £ with £, double checked it. I have checked our dates 3 May till 7th May on link you posted and it is about £235 ($376.80)including taxes and fees. And with Netflights it is £185 all in.
    About £50 cheaper, if I'm correct ?

I've got my Tropicana booked with Netflights (2 bookings and does state resort fee, although showing $7.99 which is soooo outdated).....
Price doesnt include Resort Fee, and if they dont list it as per your contract, keep all receipts, then make a claim when u get back...
Sounds crap, but i went through the same crap when i booked the excalibur through alpharooms... didnt include the correct figure for the resort fee, so i got my money back although i dont travel until June.......

On a serious note, netflights, etc etc etc all use the agent ATIUSD when booking rooms....
Whether its down to them to inform the UK broker about resort fees, god knows, but when it comes to making a claim against that broker, should be an easy win, but have to jump through hoops first mind!
Netflights dont mention the resort fee at all, and it will be cheaper to book through UK agents (depsite people saying otherwise on here!), although Netflights aint the cheapest, but using the likes Travelrepublic/lowcostholidays and alpharooms, they all use the same agent so prices are low, but they sometimes fail to point out the Resort Fee..... (naughty naughty!).
How to get the price like for like (to a certain degree), email the hotels guest relations manager, and deal that way to get a better rate....

I did this for the Trop, but still booked with netflights which cost more, but my dad paid so i dont care ! :):):D

And direct with the hotel inc there resort fee = $421 / £271
Book with UK agent inc resort fee = £230
You get perks though booking direct and sometimes the Resort fee might get waived....
