Ok, so I will not risk it with Netflights, don't fancy arguments afterwards..:(
Would however love to try to email the guest manager, it's worth try! But cannot find email address.
Does anybody have email for Monte Carlo?

What dates are you looking at.
It looks like a good saving with netflights so even if the resort fee has to be payed you may still be saving

That netflights deal looks good then as it includes an expensive fri night

only £181 on cityandshow, if you pay in full but IMO in both cases thr resort fee will be extra

only £177 on lowcostusa http://www.lowcostusa.co.uk/HotelResultsX.aspx?s=1039ad0d-e2e4-41b6-8f1f-4af4e0e3119a

You cannot make that gtee.
I dont think anyone on here has ever said "it will be cheaper booking with whoever"

The consensus is to check all booking agents, be it in the UK or the US and with the hotel direct.

The one big advantage of booking direct is the option to get them to reduce the price if the rate goes down and to get the room comped if you gamble enough etc

When everybody talks about getting things comped how much are you talking of gambling/spending in the resort per day to recieve this? I know it wont be an the same amount all the time but a rough guide would be good! Are we talking £100, £200, £500 £1000 a day??

I have a budget of between $100 and $200 a day often the lower end and to give an example on my last trip I had 5 nights comped based on previous play at Flamingo (Go room) and Ceasars (mid range room although I used the $20 trick and ended up in the Augustus Tower). I also had a few breakfasts comped . I had a good few days -arrived at ceasars and turned $20 into $300 within an hour of arriving (we only went into the casino to get a drink :) ) and had a couple of breakfasts comped and had about £30 of credit on my TR card when I checked out . Over 5 nights I was $200 down -which is less than the rooms would have cost. I pretty much keep my gambling to Harrah's properties to maximize comps though. Basically I don't gamble more than my comped rooms (would have) cost so it's a no lose scenario for me .

If there's two of you get two player cards for one account and use one each to keep all your points in one basket.

It was a light gambling stay (I play slots) as I was there for an event which took up time that otherwise would have been gambling time.

Have found the Encore for £110 (average per night) for our dates (wed-sun in sept). Is this a bargain?

And I do understand that no matter how padded the seats are that sitting in the same position for best part of a day is going to be uncomfortable, just as I said I'm a nervous flyer and get stressed before I've even got on the plane which heightens my perceptions of everything in the first place. I fly Ryanair to pretty much all my European holidays, I know what a true uncomfortable flight is!!

We like AA - find them quite comfortable, relatively speaking...for the trans-atlantic leg we always make sure we are on a flight on a 777 as we like these planes better than we would expect to like the smaller ones. Sometimes I read negative reviews about AA - no seat-back entertainment, etc...not the case if you choose flights carefully...of course there's always a chance that the type of plane will be switched, but at least we give it our best shot.

One other thing about AA is that they seem to always be bringing something to eat or drink around...it's not that big of a deal, but sometimes having something to focus on for a few minutes makes the time seem to go a bit faster.

The internal flights are a bit cramped compared to the trans-atlantic leg, but no worse than Ryanair and the like.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
