I can imagine it would be very looooooooong;)

19.5 hours going and 16 hours on the way back - Thanks for reminding me :(

But it is worth it its Vegas and we are going Saturday to Saturday for under £500, staying at Bills....

We did a slightly longer flight last March with US Airways - fine going but a drag on the way back - We stayed at the Wynn for 8 nights - pushing the boat out as it was Mrs McP's 50th :)

Nice piccys of the MGM - ;)

The red fluff usually comes from the red blankets...not the seats

I didn't use a blanket and I was covered in it, mainly on my back and !!!!.

I find the LAX connection good on the way back -long yes but at least if you do manage to sleep you don't just drop off to find it's time for an east coast plane change !

Agree with Penny that it is the blankets, if you didnt use one it means the person before you did and the seat wasnt cleaned :D

Read on Open Vegas that Bellagio is closing Fontana Bar...looks like April or May closing from what I can gather. I'm hoping it will be open when we're there in March as it's one of those things that has always been on our list and we have never actually made it...
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I have always found that if you have to do a connection ORD is the best option. About 8 hours flying then you get to stretch your legs and get something to eat, then another 3 or so hours on a somewhat cramped internal flight going. Then on the way back you are only on the international leg for 8 hours, plenty of time to have your dinner then get some sleep
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi first timer here!! we've booked two nights in Vegas in a spa suite at New York, New York. We're going to be in Palm Springs the weekend before for the Coachella Valley music festival and are driving over to Vegas for Monday and Tuesday. I'm really excited I think we're going to get our vows renewed whilst we're there! This thread has been a great help so thanks :)

Yeah we booked a hotel package for the festival, which includes tickets, three nights in The Riviera in Palm Springs & shuttle bus back and forth between the hotel & festival site. I thought it was quite a bargain at $2000, we're not normally such posh festivallers, most of the time we're in a tent but the camping tickets had sold out before we made the decision to go. And it is our honeymoon anyway so thought we'd splash out a little!

Yes it'll be 2 nights 3 days, its encouraging to hear someone recommend it.. the choice of where to stay was totally overwhelming I spent a whole week reading reviews and looking at offers!

I'm just reading reviews about American Airlines who we're flying with and its not looking good... so I'm a bit worried about that :(
