Going back to the $20 trick, i sure hope it works for the Tropicana where i am staying for a week in June...... I am booked into there normal deluxe room, but am hoping they give me a suite! :D:D:D:D but if that fails, a deluxe room with a view of the strip would suffice :)
Already got free show tickets from the 'Guests Experience Manager' which aint too bad given i booked via Netflights and not through her! :)

Hey, as part of our honeymoon trip to the Coachella music festival we're pinning a couple of days onto the end of the holiday to spend in Vegas, looking at staying in either Bally's or New York, New York. Just wondering if they have parking/how much it costs?

Hi folks, we're staying at Circus Circus in February (not my choice, group thing organised by someone else)....

    1) is the $20 trick still widely used by you guys out there? Just wondering what I can expect at Circus Circus (cue jokes about room quality there I'm sure!)

    2) The resort fee per day - is that chargeable per room or per person? Not entirely clear on the website - likely to be room but just checking.

    Thanks

"Hotel requires a credit card for incidental charges. Circus Circus charges a mandatory $6.95 resort fee per day to be collected from the guest upon registration. Upon paying the fee, guests will receive a Circus Circus Las Vegas “Resort Passport Booklet” which includes: A coupon for Free Chips & Salsa at our Garden Grill Restaurant; a coupon for two free well drinks (beer or wine included); a coupon for two free Midway games; a coupon for two free Adventuredome Premium rides; a coupon for two free adult passes to the fitness room; free local and toll-free calls (up to 30 minutes per call); Miscellaneous retail, restaurant, and gaming coupons (over $100 value); free in-room wireless internet access. "

Forget all the negatives the rooms there a very good quality and much better than IP and Flamingo deluxe, most of the negatives will be from peeps who have never stayed there

Have a read of the review on Vegas chatter, it tells you which tower to ask for. I would think you could get those rooms by just asking assuming you havent booked the Manor lodge rooms

Self parking is free at all hotels on the strip and at all malls stc

Valet parking is also free but expect to tip a couple of dollars when they return the car to you

We are flying with United Airlines from Heathrow to Los Angeles then on to Vegas.

We've previously flew with US Airways, American and BMI and wondered if anyone has used this route with United and what it was like.

    5 weeks on Saturday !! :j

    Which show?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Just to let you guys know...

We are flying MCR to LV with Virgin in July and although VA website says you can only get exit rows/extra legroom seats at check-in we called earlier this week to extend our return flight date and just asked the lady who has now pre-booked us the exit row seats.

The lady also said that these seats are bookable by calling up to 3 days before departure-at that point any unsold are then dealt with at check-in (cost still applies)

Yes-it cost us £75 each which is more than BA (normal fee charged by Virgin to west coast USA) but we've deemed it worth it as it's an evening/night flight returning from our 3 week wedding/honeymoon and want to stretch out (and we managed to get relatively reasonable prices). Happy Days :T

Alternatively, if you have booked through the Virgin Atlantic website or our contact centre, you can now also book these seats by simply calling us on 0844 209 7777 up to 24 hours before you travel. All our Extra Leg Room and Exit Row seats are offered on a first come first serve basis subject to availability

Apologies, I have scoured the website loads of times since we booked last month and have never seen this. Thanks for highlighting it though
