Thanks for all the advice on here, I've spent days reading through all the threads!
We're going to Vegas for our honeymoon in September and are looking for some fairly nice but quite cheap rooms (we're also going to Boston and Washington DC so have had to spend a lot on hotels there). I've seen good weekday rates for Flamingo GO deluxe room ($59), Planet Hollywood Hip room ($60) and Luxor Pyramid Spa suite ($88) has anyone stayed in any of these rooms before? We quite like the idea of a spa room as it is our honeymoon!
I've also seen a good weekend deal for MGM signature at $127 for their Junior Suite, I was wondering how far away from the strip this is and how nice the rooms are? Although I am a little put off by the resort fees at MGM.
Thanks!
where are you staying in Boston ?? we loved BostonBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

AugustHi, this is my first post, I am going to vegas and LA in August for our honeymoon. I booked my flight back in september but i am now keen to getting the hotel booked, I am looking to stay in the Mirage and ebookers have a week in a strip view room for £580. Is this a good price? it's cheaper than going direct with Mirage but do you think I should hang on? Thanks
I think that is a good price for a strip view room at Mirage (i assume it is 7 nights). Mirage have a 72 hour sale on at mo with some good rates but the fri and sat take it to way over £580. Are you aware of the $20 a night resort fee, it may be included with ebookers but for that price I would think not.
If there are no cancellation fees (as with booking direct) then you have nothing to lose, if there are cancellation fees and you are not 100% sure thats where you want to stay then hold off0 -
We're staying at the Lenox hotel in back bay, looks like a great hotel and got a pretty good deal (for Boston prices). I went to Boston a few years ago and loved it too, I stayed at the Jurys then.
oooh thats where we stayed .....very very nice . enjoyBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

The Lenox is a nice hotel, stayed there many times. Very close to the Prudential Center for shopping, and a T stop - Copley- just a couple of minutes walk away.0 -

Hi Gina! What dates will you be in Vegas? We are also going in Sept for our honeymoon (7th-11th) and there are some good deals on lowcostusa.co.uk and cityandshow.com (both part of same company). They have the Cosmopolitan for our dates for £90 a night, I am quite tempted to book it!0 -
Treasure Island have a 50% off sale on at the moment until the 30th Jan. Use promo code TIJAN11 and get 2 for 1 tickets to Mystere with your booking.
Just canceleld & rebooked my hotel for April and saved £100 over the previous 35% off offer. That's half my trip to Zion paid for, just a shame I already booked Mystere tickets but you can win them all0 -
update done thanks mookyBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0
