November / Decemberah right, I booked my flight with them, not on a package.0
-
November / Decemberthe No 1 Lounge is just next door to the V room, there may be discount codes around for this one0

November / DecemberOur experiences were varied.
One usher asked us directly if we wanted a seating upgrade and it would be 5 dollars each.
In a different show another usher didnt even want a tip for moving people to better seats, we were moved from the back row at Monte Carlo to 3rd row from the front and we were not given the oppourtunity to tip.
One usher didnt want to reseat people even if given a tip.I'm sure they were if people were been rude to them.Kicking off at people trying to do their jobs ? Charming !
Not sure what you mean by a "tip option wasn't offered" What does that mean ?
The custom in Vegas is to discreetly tip the usher and ask if there are better seats and if they accept it they'll reseat you. THEY don't ask you-you need to OFFER !
Doesn't matter if the seats are behind or in front -you want better seats you pay for them or you tip and hope the usher plays ball. Same priniple as the $20 trick -you don't just move into another empty hotel rooms just because you fancy it after all !! You pay for the better room or you tip at check in and hope.0 -
I quite fancy doing this. Before I book can anyone see any negatives please?

just a thought, is it worth paying for the V room lounge at Gatwick - Virgin?
We plan to book No. 1 Lounge at Gatwick South. I've done a bit of looking around and the best deal I found was 10% cashback through Quidco - I think they are actually called the No. 1 Lounge on there. Price is £20 per person. Thanks to HoofeHearted on the discount thread he sent me a couple of links yesterday which I haven't checked out yet.
I'll pm you the links.
How much is the Virgin Lounge?0 -
Just checked the links out. The first one came up with invalid code used and second link took £5 off the "at the door" price which still made it £20.
Probably will book through Quidco.0 -

We will be going sking (weather permitting) when we are there later this month. Really easy beginners slope and quite cheap to hire all the gearThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Quick question - Vdara or Bellagio. Going 26th Jan for 6 nights £882 for Vdara (with BA or £864 with Virgin) and £915 for Bellagio. Ta X0

MarchOK if there is a layer of snow. The Ski resort is at 10,000 ft. At that height you would need an SUV because the road becomes narrow and they don't grit it. I suppose at 7,000ft you would be OK.

I understand there is plenty of snow in the Mt Charleston area, the slopes opened early this year because of early and decent snowfall.
There are any number of winter restrictions within the area, some routes have no parking on roads, compulsory snow chains etc.
Very worthwhile to check out restrictions on the state transport website www.nevadadot.com some of the fines/ citations they show will make you pay attention.0
