Crazy Horse Paris at MGM, was an interesting good show, again we paid for the cheapest seats. The ushers here weren’t so keen to move people unless you kicked up a stink, the cheap seats here aren’t great, but there was plenty of seating available, the cheap seats sorta compare to sitting on a bus and are tightly crammed in so makes it very difficult to get out if you need the rest room or a drink, this is a small theatre. We got upgraded to a booth cause my fella is a tall guy and would have obstructed other peoples view, lol.

    Or tipped the usher !

Why would you kick up a stink to get a better seat if you only paid for the cheap one?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

@duchy -Yeh maybe tourists don't have this knowledge.

@Stoneman - I dunno why people would kick up a fuss either if you paid for cheap seats, i certainly wouldnt ...... i think people were just annoyed cause there were seats available with a better view (behind) and the ushers just wouldn't let them move behind, a tip option wasnt given on entry, maybe the ushers were having a bad day.

We went to Roos and More after a recommendation from ferf1223 from this forum, and if you are an animal lover this is a total must doo, I would never have known about this place if it wasn’t for ferf1223 and this forum, so I thank her very much as it fulfilled a lot of my dreams to pet and meet otters and also to meet other animals like a monkey, armadillos, snakes, the bear cat (I forgot its name) but he was my favourite animal, he smelt like popcorn.

Excellent! Glad you went and enjoyed it...it sounds like you did the walking with otters experience? I just think that is my favorite thing I have ever done in or around Vegas.

And I think the bearcat is a binturong...I did pet him, but did not get close enough to determine if he smelled like popcorn...next time I will check. ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yeh, thats right, a Binturong! He was soo cool, i wanted him to get on my shoulders but i think hes a bit too fat.

Yeh we did the Walk with the Otters tour, didnt much fancy the Kangaroo experience, they kinda remind me of giant smelly rats, i much prefer wallabees.

They also had a sloth (which i adore) but it was too cold for him to come out out the house :(

Yep for me it was a definate must do in Vegas and the total highlight of my trip.

    Thanks again:wave:

What was the kangaroo experience? We didn't hear about that one.

You get to go in the Kangaroo enclosure, i think it was 7 dollars each. Altho the guy that showed us around the Otter enclosure got kicked by one the previous week.

I've never heard of "Roos and More" and it's now our new excuse (not that we need one ;)) to go back to Vegas.
If we'd have known about it before June, it would have been a must do.
Right, I'm adding that and the full Fremont Street Zipwire to ze list :j:rotfl:

  • Hi Lisa - did you change any £ to $ while you were there and, if so, what was the rate like pls?
