Hello all, long time no see.

as you can probably guess i have not been dropping by here very often due the joys of being the proud father of a now nearly one year old baby girl.

But the time of year is coming around again and i would like to re extend the invite for a regular to take over the info posted on the first page. It is probably more than a little out of date now, as i am really not up with current Vegas going on's.

It should be simple enough to take over i will just email you the code on page one to post into new posts. and you will then have full control of the Las Vegas guide.

let me know what you guys think.

I have pmd you, I am happy to take over, but if anyone else wants to do it then please feel free

Just thinking about the 2 CW seats we bought for over NYE, the best thing that could happen would be for lots of snow and BA to cancel the flight. Then we wouldn't have to go in Dec/Jan and could rebook for free for August.;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Tretts. Are you like me working out the mechanics of holidays with a baby? We are currently resorting to cruises from Southampton ad can't face flying
I still lurk on here daily just to catch up with what's going on

My vote is for ferf to take over the reigns!!

tell me about it. although we rented a Villa in spain on the cheap this year, that won't be an option next due it being toddler unfriendly.

I have no idea what to do for a holiday in 2012.
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

I checked earlier and there were some front row seats available for when we are going in March - more expensive though - for those that have seen the show, are seats at the front better to appeciate the show ?

Friends went to see him, they come out a bit damp and not amused, one of his 'gags' seems to spray a bit of water about? Maybe not front row suitable? He's an aquired taste.

There are only 13 rows in the theatre so any seat is a good seat. We have been in Row M and Row H and it was fine both times. Row H was good as it wasn't too close.

We had avoided any comedy shows until we saw Carrot Top as I don't "get" American humour, but we found it quite funny and there were only a couple of American references that I didn't understand, although OH did as he watches a lot of American TV.

Five people have been killed in a helicopter crash on the border of Nevada and Arizona in the US.

The tourist aircraft came down just before 5pm local time in the River Mountains surrounding Lake Mead.
The pilot and all four passengers have been confirmed dead, the Lake Mead National Recreational Area said on its Twitter feed.
The crash site is about 30 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and is not accessible by road.
The helicopter, believed to be a Eurocopter AS350 model, operated by Sundance Helicopters, was on a sightseeing tour of the Hoover Dam before heading back to Las Vegas.
16125981.jpg The helicopter came down near Arizona's Lake Mead

Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the accident by a water treatment plant near Lakeshore Road, south of Lake Mead's Las Vegas Bay.
Sundance Helicopters CEO Larry Pietropaulo said in a statement: "Sundance Helicopters regrets to report that a Sundance helicopter with five people on board went down 16 miles east of Las Vegas at approximately 4:45 this evening.
"Emergency personnel on the scene reported there were no survivors.
"Names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
"Sundance Helicopters is cooperating fully with the FAA and the NTSB in the investigation."
A September 2003 crash of a Sundance Helicopters flight killed its pilot and six passengers in Arizona.
Unsafe flying procedures and misjudgment were cited as the probable cause of that crash.
On its website, the company boasts aerial filming credits for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the films Oceans 11 and Oceans 13, among others.
