    Has anyone got any experience or comments on Caesers Palace?

    We are considering a few nights there end of may as part of our honeymoon and have seen what appears a decent price.

    Can I ask where you have seen a decent price? I have often thouight about staying there but have never come across a price that I think is reasonable other than for a classic room which as everyone says is a room to avoid even though you could probably get an upgrade

    I've stayed there a few times -The $20 trick appears to work very well there -both from the reviews and my own personal experience. Never stayed in a Classic room but heard the horror stories too.
    Location, pool, service and shopping are all fab.

    Palace Tower was great, but a bit of a hike from anywhere else (other than the pool which was right at the bottom of the lift).

    I really like the property a lot - but it does seem, unless you end up in the Augustus Tower, that it takes forever to get out of Caesars property.

    I actually thought it was quite quick to get from Palace Tower to strip, though it can be a pain in the !!! if you want to walk up through the forum shops etc which can take some time as you seem to end up going the long way - I guess it depends how hot it is and how much you need the air-con - we just nipped directly out to the front :)

    ... saying that, I also thought it was not too bad getting out of MGM or to MGM pool when we had celeb-spa suite there (whichever tower that's in!) so maybe I just expect the worst and end up being pleasantly surprised :D

    Someone call? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Search previous Vegas threads for the phrase "bodily fluids" and "stains".

    Well I say decent.....we thought so but you any advice on pricing would be appreciated. We priced up the last 5 nights of our trip end of May 2012 (Mon onwards) on an offer which i saw on vegas-hotels-online.com and it was a classic room we looked at $745 but just priced Forum Tower Deluxe which is $856.

    i would second the recommendation for wynn - well encore but close enough!! i managed to get it for £90 a night (per room) through travel republic for 4 nights in november so maybe worth checking out? also low cost usa seem to have some great prices! I know I am looking at vegas for honeymoon in august so different times of year but probably worth checking!
    Out of interest can I ask where else you are honeymoon-ing? Looking for some ideas....... :-)

    Those prices dont do it for me. thats $150 a night in a classic room which are supposed to be "bad". you should be able to get the Wynn or Venetian for that in a much much better room.

    I guess it all comes down to how much value you put on staying at CP, like I said I have thought about it but the price has never been right for me in a dozen trips.

    Yeah I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not. We will wait and see what else comes up...plenty of time yet :-)

    Can't offer you any more ideas I'm afraid as we are just doing 2 weeks in Vegas. The plan is 2 stay a 2 or 3 different hotels.
    So much we didn't do earlier this year including some chilled pool time and a couple of days drive to the canyon.
