Unlikely - presumably you have an e-ticket? Assume there is an online check-in option which would be advised...you should also be able to fill in your Advance Passenger Information online if you have not already done so...normally you need your confirmation number, passport details, etc.
I also think it's 23kg on United so same as BMI. As others have said if you are booked one one ticket your bags will be checked through your first destination in the US...if you're booked on separate tickets then you would have to collect your bags in London and check in again for the connecting flight.
I think you booked flights through a 3rd party...it's possible that is why it's not letting you select an upgrade, maybe?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
November / DecemberI wasn't going to check in online due to wanting to ask about upgrading when we get there, or can I still do that even if I've already checked in?
Probably a really stupid question, but how do I know if I'm on one ticket or seperate tickets?0 -

I would assume if you booked from Belfast to LA then it would be one ticket, not sure how you would know for sure without checking with either the airline or the agent0 -

That's our experience too...we have even swapped to better seats (non-upgrade, just better seats) at the airport, after we had checked in online...we would always check in online so we had a reasonable level of certainty to at least get what we were hoping for in terms of seating. Sure, they could have an aircraft change or something else that could mean our seats changed...but since we were told by a Virgin check-in agent once that it was almost impossible for them to move your seats once you had checked in online, we always do it - going and coming back.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MayHas anyone got any experience or comments on Caesers Palace?
We are considering a few nights there end of may as part of our honeymoon and have seen what appears a decent price.0 -

We stayed there in 2008. It was lovely, and I think we stayed in a Classic room, which was very nice and clean. Only grumble was that the toilet/bathroom area was all open plan, so no toilet door. This meant if you weren't careful and didn't have the room door locked, and you were, you know comtemplating, the maid could walk in and see a pair of legs:eek::rotfl:
I know that some of the Vegas peeps on here aren't keen on one of the towers (and it may be the Classic) someone will confirm it. But we had a lovely pleasant stay.
The amineties, shops, casino, cafes etc are all brilliant. The buffet is a little pricey but you have to give it a go.
TBH, if you can budget for it, the Wynn is nicer, but Caesers is well worth it. HTHBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

MayBeware the Classic or cheapest rooms at Caesars Palace as they are supposed to be pretty bad as in motel bad. I think anything from Forum Tower upwards are OK.
We stayed in the Palace Tower and the rooms were nice and big. Apparently it is quite easy to get an upgrade to the Augustus Tower.0 -

Love it, but we would avoid the classic rooms (I think Roman and Centurion Towers, maybe?) based on what we have read about them - especially if it's a honeymoon - you'll be paying for the name, but can likely get a much nicer room for the same price elsewhere...Palace Tower was great, but a bit of a hike from anywhere else (other than the pool which was right at the bottom of the lift). Augustus Tower is brilliant as it's just off reception...we were lucky enough to have a fountain view room and it was just brilliant. We have considered a Forum Tower room as the lift lets off right in the casino area we spend most time in, and is quite close to the self-park garage - and the rooms were recently renovated - but have been upgraded both times we stayed there...the rooms do look to be quite a lot smaller than the Palace and Augustus Tower I think... Would love to try an Octavius Tower room sometime.
I really like the property a lot - but it does seem, unless you end up in the Augustus Tower, that it takes forever to get out of Caesars property.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
