Really?! Warm today?! Are we in the same place!! I've been in a jumper & trainers for the first day so far as it's been freezing, yes we were outside at 8am looking at cars @ Coffee & Cars but still been chilly today... Although the boys did go up to the hot tub, I wasn't that brave lol
Agreed, strip is busy, just dropped the boys at TI and sat in traffic back south to Tropicana to get back across town to Henderson not as busy as last weekend though, that was crazy!

I didn't say it was warm, just warmer in the sun than yesterday. Anyway leaving for Miami tomorrow. Had a good trip but am so worn out, not been in till 2am every night, then up for a run most mornings. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. November / DecemberI'm off to Vegas in a couple of weeks for a wedding. Are there many free wifi hotspots around the strip? I know the hotels charge for access and I'd like to be able to keep in touch on my phone a bit while I'm there
Also we're staying at the Luxor and have tickets to see Penn & Teller which is at the Rio, it doesn't look that far but there is a motorway junction in between by the looks of it. Does anyone know if it is walkable or will we need to cab it there?0 -

MarchJust had a look at Earth Cam, people are wearing jackets and coats so will start to pack accordingly. Looks a bit overcast too.

If you are staying at Luxor you will pay a resort fee, part of which is internet access...so you will have access in your room at least...so that would (I would presume) be enough for keeping in touch a bit while you are there? Any other locations would just be a bonus...I'm sure that Earl of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood has access if you are mid-strip.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
We are going to Vegas for Christmas staying at the Luxor. Has anyone else been before over the period and the actual day? Where would be best for eating on Christmas Day which won't cost too much, obviously the prices will go up for the day i understand?
Are there any special shows/sights to see over the Christmas period?
Thanks for any info.0 -

I have been a few times over christmas and will be again this year.
Mon Ami Gabi have a holiday menu, and is a good spot for christmas day, but is $49 per person. Most of the casinos will have holiday buffets with varying prices - which are of course more than their usual prices. Someone on another forum recommended South Point casino as a good value buffet for christmas - you need to get their by car though.
The conservatory at Bellagio is with visiting over xmas as is the Ethel M cactus garden.0 -

All buffets will be busy with a typical wait of 2hours. We booked Xmas meal in advance at one of the restaurants in the Orleans, $25 each. All shows will be dark on Xmas dayThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
