I sported a massive bruise on my leg for the holiday after I bashed my leg getting out of the bath… not good... it’s a good job that tubs worth it! L

welcome back and glad you had a good trip! I had exactly the same thing at Bally's once - I slipped slightly getting out and whacked my shin into the tub so hard...the bruise was something to behold...and naturally it was a trip when shorts were the primary bottom-half wardrobe option. So I reckon it must be quite common. :)

If anyone is going in the next couple of weeks can you check out weather the Cosmo has extended the lose $100 and get it back promo. Would love to have a go at that later this month.

Came across this today - says that the offer is available until the end of 2011

Been reading about the Cosmo offer on a few forums.

I believe there are two offers. The first is to spin the wheel for either free play ranging from $5 to $500 and free Wicked Spoon Buffets....the key appears to be that you ask to do this FIRST...then ask re the Lose $100 promo.

This Lose $100 promo is on until end of 2011.

Best explained by Ilovevegas111 on Tripadvisor on a recent discussion.

When you sign up for the "Identity" card (the Cosmo players club) you have two choices you can make.(two different promotions) Your first option is to take $10 in promo play, or spin the wheel for somthing better. The second option is to participate in the $100 loss promotion.
You can only do one of these two promotions in one calendar day. If you want to do both promos, you can do one, one day, and come back the next day to participate in the other.
For the $100 loss promotion, all you have to do is play qualifying games until you have lost $100. (make sure you are using your Identity card in the machine, or your play won't count) When you have lost $100, go to the promo desk and they will load $100 in "promo play" onto your card. That can be used to play qualifying games. Once you have played through $100 in spins of promo play, you can cash out what is left over. Promo play will stay on your card until you use it. You don't have to play your promo play right away.

Reports state that both promos are open for pre existing Identity card holders too so you don't have to sign for a new card.

We weren't given the option to spin the wheel but were given the $10 freeplay...only heard about the spin the wheel thing waiting in the queue to get our $100 back after losing it on the other promo - not sure if it started a day or two after we joined, or if we just got unluckly. :)

Without knowing if you have stop overs etc, I would say yes it is, very good infact. £450 per person? Bargain. I think we paid £830 each for a week in Sept.

    Who's the flight with?

looks like 2 stops each way on that one (click New York-New York)...Air France/Delta (Birmingham->CDG->LAX->LAS and Delta/KLM (Vegas->Minneapolis->Amsterdam->Birmingham). It's not a bad price overall, but I'd pay more for direct or no-stops...that's just me.

f money saving is your objective then it is a good deal £450 each including accomodation!

A week at NYNY would prob cost around £450 so you are paying £225 each for the flight. IMO book it!

Where have you seen a package that cheap or am I reading it wrong
