LOL look at the traveling times. leave BHX at 6:30 am and et to LAS 6:60pm!! BA leave at 4:30pm and get in at 6:30pm that is 10 hours lay over somewhere. And the return is 8 hours or there abouts lay over. Not for me.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks everyone Re: Cosmo deal. Will ask what "qualifying games" are when we get there, but I think it was anything except for progressives. And do you have to lose the $100 in one day.

we were told that it's machines with progressives over $10k that don't qualify to use the freeplay on...so smaller ones are ok...but we did play games with higher progressives when we lost our $100.

welcome back and glad you had a good trip! I had exactly the same thing at Bally's once - I slipped slightly getting out and whacked my shin into the tub so hard...the bruise was something to behold...and naturally it was a trip when shorts were the primary bottom-half wardrobe option. So I reckon it must be quite common. :)
Thanks Ferf we had an awesome trip! And yes suprise suprise the bruise was there for all to see when I had my shorts on good job I had some maxi dresses haha! :)

But if like me it takes about 5 hours from landing at heathrow to getting home compared with 30 minutes from local airport that does negate the layover, and if it really is £225 for the flight it is a steal although that appears not to be the case according to another poster

I agree, if it is that price I'd go for it. I now choose flights on the basis of what time they are, how convenient they are for me getting to and from airports and the price. I'm going away next month and am getting a very early flight via Zurich rather than a direct flight later in the day as I'll arrive earlier, it's easier to get to the airport at 4am and it's cheaper.

You have to lose $100 in the day, start with the exact amount of money and make sure you lose that and any winnings. Be careful as we found a bank of machines which didn't register our losses and if I wasn't as organised hubby wouldn't have had a clue how much we'd played and lost. we played pretty much all machines, it's playing your free play that is more restrictive.
  • I'm looking to go next April or May, Staying at either Paris or Bellagio with a direct flight for a week. What's the best site to do this in one go? Obviously the cheapest too.

I'd read that you guys had the issue with not all your play counting, so we made sure to watch the points on our card were ticking along OK. We started with $100 into a machine and just kept moving around with the ticket - so we would always know how we were doing against the $100 loss.

I just realised I didn't post our experience here...copied from Open Vegas.

We did it twice - once on my card (played mostly $1 slots to lose it - in the hope we might hit a big win in the meantime) and won back only about $45 on the freeplay.

Went to do it on my husband's card but when we had a $1 WOF up to $200 (including the $100 we were using this time around) we cashed out and decided to call that even from the first time.

They did it properly a 2nd time on my husband's card - won back about $96...so overall we were also up on the deal.

Both times we played the freeplay in 10 $10 chunks - he played $10 on something, then I went (sometimes on the same machine, sometimes not)...we enjoyed it...would do it again if they re-run the promotion next year and allow people to do it again.
